In apartment complexes without communal toilets and elevators in multi-tenant buildings where there are many drunk customers, people sometimes urinate in the elevator cars. Conventionally, there was no means to prevent such urination, and it was left up to each person's awareness.

By the way, there is a certain limit to what can be left to one's own self-awareness, and it is even more impossible to expect a drunk customer to be self-conscious, so urination has been carried out in the car. As a result, a foul odor pervaded the inside of the basket, making it unsanitary. Also,
If left unattended, the cage floor and walls would corrode and be dangerous.

By the way, if the interval between the electrodes 1a and 1b is 50 mm, and the flow rate is 10 cubic centimeters per second, adult urine with a flow diameter of about 5 mm will be transferred to the electrodes 1a and 1b.

It is known that it will be 100 kilo ohms to 150 kilo ohms. For tap water with the same flow rate and flow diameter:
It is 250 kilohms to 300 kilohms. Also, if you short it with a piece of metal, it will drop to zero.

On the other hand, in Fig. 2, the voltage of the positive power supply V is V volts, the resistance value between the electrodes 1a and 1b is R, and the resistance values of the resistors R N1 , R N2 , R L1 , R L2 , and R P are respectively
Assuming R N1 , R N2 , R L1 , R L2 , and R P , R N2 /R N1 +R N2 >R p /R+R P (1) At this time, comparator A outputs signal H.

R N2 /R N1 +R N2 > R p /R + R P (2) At this time, comparator A outputs signal L.

R L2 /R L1 +R L2 > R p /R + R P (3) At this time, comparator B outputs signal H.

R L2 /R L1 +R L2 > R p /R + R P (4) At this time, comparator B outputs signal L.

Therefore, comparators A and B both output signals H when equations (1) and (3) are simultaneously satisfied, and the following equation is calculated from this.

R N1 /R N2 R P <R<R L1 /R L2 R P ……(5) Now, to detect only urine, R N1 /R N2 R P =100 kilohms R L1 /R L2 R P = It is selected to be 150 kilohms.

Next, we will discuss the operation.

Assuming that no urine is being urinated, the resistance value R between the electrodes 1a and 1b is approximately equal to infinity. Therefore(1)
Equations (4) and (4) hold true, and comparator B outputs signal L. Therefore, the output of the AND element 10 becomes the signal L, and the output of the delay timer 11 also becomes the signal L.
The transistor 14 remains non-conductive. Therefore, the buzzer 3 and telephone 5 do not operate.

Next, if the electrodes 1a and 1b are short-circuited with a metal piece, the resistance value R becomes almost zero. For this reason, (2)
Equations (3) and (3) hold true, and the output of comparator A becomes signal L. Therefore, similarly to the above, the buzzer 3 and telephone 5 do not operate.

Next, suppose that the electrodes 1a and 1b are short-circuited by urine. At this time, the resistance value R becomes 100 kilohms to 15 kilohms, equations (1) and (3) are established, and both comparators A and B output signals H. Therefore, the output of the AND element 10 also becomes a signal H, and the delay timer 11 counts the time. In the case of urine, the state is normally maintained for 2 seconds or more, so the delay timer 11 outputs a signal H after 2 seconds have elapsed. Transistor 14 is made conductive by this signal H, energizing relay 15, and both normally open contacts 15a and 15b are closed. The buzzer 3 sounds when the contact 15a is closed, giving a warning. Also contact point 15b
This activates the connector 4 and automatically notifies the manager via the telephone 5 that urination is being urinated.

Also, it happens that the resistance value R is 100 kilohms to 150
Even if the value reaches kilo-ohm, if this state continues for less than 2 seconds, the delay timer 11 will not output the signal H, so the buzzer 3 etc. will not operate. Such conditions are usually not caused by urine, but by mischief or accidental phenomena, which should be prevented.

As described above, according to the present invention, since the electrodes are placed vertically apart from each other by a predetermined distance, urine wets both electrodes together due to its drooping property, thereby making it possible to detect the urine with high accuracy. On the other hand, dust and the like slide down, are difficult to accumulate, and are not capable of bridging the quantity electrodes. Therefore, malfunctions due to dust or the like can be avoided. In other words, even though the car is used by an unspecified number of people and easily gets dirty, false detection can be avoided even if the car is used for many years.

Furthermore, since the resistance value when the electrode is stained with urine is set in advance and the device operates only within this range, it does not operate in an extremely low or high resistance value region. Therefore, it also has the effect that it does not operate when it is exposed to water from raindrops or when a person simply approaches.
