Claims

In a catalytic converter in which a corrugated metal plate and a flat metal plate are stacked and wound multiple times to form a core part, and this core part is housed in a container, a metal corrugated plate and a flat plate are stacked, and the core part is housed in a container. A mating recess is formed, and a cap member that fits onto the outer peripheral surface of the core is disposed between the inner surface of the container and the outer peripheral surface of the core, and the cap member is fitted into the engaging recess of the container.
