Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the discharge of the high-temp. steam to the outside of a test chamber by mounting a rubber plate and heat radiating cover into the pressure regulating hole of the pressure regulator of the thermo-hygrostat device which supplies the air controlled in temp. and humidity by a refrigerator, heater and humidifier into the test chamber. CONSTITUTION:The pressure regulating hole 9 discharges the air in the test chamber 1 and sucks the outdoor air in order to adjust the difference between the air pressure in the test chamber 1 and external outside air pressure. The rubber plate 23 is mounted by a press plate 24 to the out-of-the chamber side of a resin pipe 22 and the heat radiating cover 25 is provided on the out-of-the chamber side of the pressure regulating hole 9. The high-temp. steam in the test chamber 1 passes the resin pipe 22 and pushes the rubber plate 23 to open so as to be discharged to the outside of the chamber when the pressure in the test chamber 1 rises at the time of a high temp. and high humidity. The discharged high-temp. steam rises to the upper part of the heat radiating cover 25 and condenses by making heat exchange with the heat radiating cover 25. The condensed steam is drained from a drain hole 27 in the lower part of the heat radiating cover 25. The outdoor is sucked from a small-diameter hole 28 in the central part of the rubber plate 23 and regulates the pressure in the test chamber 1 when the pressure in the test chamber 1 drops at the time of a low temp. The rubber plate 23 comes into tight contact with a heat insulating panel 21 to prevent the more than required introduction of the outdoor air at the time of a low temp.

The rubber plate is pushed open and high temperature steam is discharged into the heat dissipation cover. The high temperature steam inside the heat dissipation cover is cooled by the outside air on the wall or top surface of the heat dissipation cover, or by circulating water if it is a water-cooled type, or by circulating air if it is air-cooled, and it becomes possible to condense when the temperature falls below the dew point temperature.
