[Means for Solving the Problem] In order to solve the above object, the present invention detects paper on the front side in the paper feeding direction, closer to the paper feeding device than the paper entrance of the platen and the pinch roller pressed against the platen. A sensor is provided, and the paper feeding means is stopped with a delay based on the detection signal of the leading edge of the paper fed out from the paper feed stacker from this detection sensor, so that the leading edge of the paper hits the above-mentioned entrance port, and the leading edge of the paper is brought into contact with the above-mentioned entrance port. The configuration is configured to bend the paper between the sheets and the paper feed means, and to activate the paper feed means based on a detection signal from the detection sensor indicating that the trailing edge of the paper has passed, and to feed the next sheet from the paper feed stacker. has been done.

[Function] In the present invention, a detection sensor disposed on the front side in the paper feeding direction, closer to the paper feeding device than the paper entry opening, detects the leading edge of the paper fed out from the paper stacker by the paper feeding means, and the detection signal is used as a reference. By stopping the paper feeding means later than this, the leading edge of the paper abuts against the inlet, and the paper is curved between the inlet and the paper feeding means, so registration correction is performed to align the left and right edges of the leading edge of the paper. I can do it.

This drive motor M is composed of a reversible motor capable of forward and reverse rotation, and is connected to the first and second feed rollers 6.
They are connected so that when one of them rotates in the paper feeding direction (in the direction of the solid line arrow in the figure), the other rotates in a direction different from the feeding direction (in the direction of the broken line in the figure). 12 is a reverse gear.

(b) When paper is present at the detection sensor S, the drive motor M of the paper feeding means 6 stops. In other words, the driving motor M is electrically connected to stop the drive motor M based on the paper presence signal when the leading edge of the paper reaches the detection sensor S, and the leading edge of the paper hits the entrance P of the platen 1 and the paper reaches a predetermined amount. The drive motor M is stopped after the signal from the detection sensor S is delayed for a predetermined period of time via a timer means (timer T 1 in FIG. 5) so that the signal is excessively sent and curved.

(c) If the paper (leading edge) is not detected by the detection sensor S even after a predetermined period of time has elapsed since the paper feeding means 6 was activated, the paper feeding means 6 is stopped as a paper jam.
In the illustrated case, the jam timer (Fig. 5) starts operating when the drive motor M starts, and if the paper is not detected by the detection sensor S when the estimated time for the paper to reach the position of the detection sensor S has elapsed, the paper is jammed. It is recognized as a jam and a signal thereof is sent to the drive motor M to stop it.

The stepping motor (not shown) of platen 1 is equipped with a counter that counts the number of pulses in the print line feed direction, and this count and the feed amount per pulse (pitch) are calculated to determine the maximum size. 1. A paper feed stacker and a paper discharge stacker are arranged in an extended manner in a printing device having a platen equipped with an appropriate print head, and sheets are fed one by one from the paper feed stacker to the platen by a paper feed means, and after printing, In an automatic feeding device that discharges paper from a platen to a paper stacker, a paper detection sensor is provided on the front side in the paper feeding direction closer to the paper feeding device than the paper entrance between the platen and the pinch roller pressed against the platen. Based on the detection signal of the leading edge of the paper fed out from the paper feed stacker from this detection sensor, the paper feeding means is stopped at a later time than this, so that the leading edge of the paper hits the entrance opening, and the left and right sides of the leading edge are stopped. An automatic paper feeding device for a printing device, which performs registration correction for alignment, and also activates the paper feeding means based on a detection signal from the detection sensor that the trailing edge of the paper has passed, and feeds out the next paper from a paper feed stacker. .
