Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce leakage of steam from a bathroom to a dressing room and to rapidly discharge leaked steam by sensing persons going in and out of the bathroom, and rapidly cooperatively operating ventilation fans of the bathroom and the dressing room. CONSTITUTION:A passage sensor 7 for sensing persons going in and out of a bathroom 1 is provided at an opening/closing mechanism of a bathroom door 4 at a door fixing section of a partition wall 8 to be operated upon opening of a bathroom door 4. When a knob 9 of the door 4 is turned to allow a person to go in the bathroom 1, a door latch 10 is retracted to release pressing to a microswitch 11, the microswitch 11 reaches a conductive state, and ventilation fans 5 and 6 are operated. As a result, the bathroom 1 becomes negative pressure by the discharging operation of the fan 5 to suppress leakage of steam from the bathroom 1 to a dressing room 3. Further, the steam leaked from the room 3 or generated from a bathed person is discharged by a dressing room ventilation fan 6.

Conventional technology Although it has become common for bathrooms to have ventilation fans installed in modern homes, ventilation fans are rarely installed in adjoining washrooms, and unless there are special circumstances, the bathroom door must be left open and the bathroom closed. A ventilation fan was used to ventilate the room along with the bathroom.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention Recently, devices that use the bathroom itself as a steam sauna have come into practical use, and people often use the shower, leaving the bathroom filled with steam. The door between the room and the changing room or washroom may be opened. Particularly in the former case, a large amount of water vapor leaks into the changing room, causing condensation on the walls and damp clothes, which in turn increases the likelihood of mold growth.

Function: With this configuration, the entry and exit of a person into the bathroom is detected as soon as possible, for example by opening the bathroom door, and the ventilation system in the bathroom and the ventilation system in the dressing room and washroom are activated.
The amount of water vapor leaking from the bathroom to the changing room can be reduced. In addition, by quickly discharging leaked water vapor outside the changing room, condensation in the changing room and washroom can be prevented to a minimum.

The entrance/exit detection device 7 that detects when a person enters or exits the bathroom 1 is
When the bathroom door 4 is opened, the door fixing portion of the partition wall 8 and the opening/closing mechanism of the bathroom door 4 are provided. That is, it is composed of a door latch 10 that opens and closes in conjunction with the rotation of the door knob 9, and a moisture-resistant micro switch 11 that is disposed on the partition wall 8 in pressure contact with the lunch 10, The switch 11 is electrically connected. Further, a dressing room entrance door 12 is installed at the entrance from the dressing room 3 to the hallway.

In the above configuration, when the knob 9 of the bathroom door 4 is rotated to enter and exit the bathroom 1, the door latch 10 moves back and the pressure on the microswitch 11 is released, and the microswitch 1
1 becomes energized, and ventilation fans 5 and 6 operate. As a result, the bathroom 1 becomes under negative pressure due to the exhaust operation of the bathroom ventilation fan 5, and leakage of steam from the bathroom 1 to the changing room 3 is suppressed. Further, the changing room ventilation fan 6 exhausts steam leaking into the changing room 3 or steam generated from the human body after taking a bath.

In this way, even if steam is trapped in the changing room 3, it is quickly removed and the changing room 3 is dried. After that, when the bathroom door 4 is closed, the microswitch 11 is pressed again by the latch 10, and ventilation is started! 1is5 and ventilation fan 6 stop. At this time, the changing room ventilation fan 6 is configured to be stopped later than the bathroom ventilation fan 5.

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the above description of the embodiments, the ventilation system of the present invention detects when a person enters or exits the bathroom, and promptly operates the ventilation fans in the bathroom and changing room in conjunction with each other. By doing so, the pressure inside the bathroom is first reduced to reduce the leakage of steam from the bathroom to the changing room, and also the steam leaking into the changing room is quickly exhausted. As a result, it is possible to suppress the intrusion of moisture into the changing room, quickly eliminate the moisture, keep the room dry, and provide a clean changing room or washroom without the risk of mold growth.
