Abstract

PURPOSE:To form recessed and projected sections on the surface of a decorative sheet in the length direction of the decorative sheet and provide a good appearance by grinding the surface of a base in the length direction of the base, and then applying the decorative sheet thereon. CONSTITUTION:The surface of an inorganic base with dotted small recesses and projections generated thereon is ground in the length direction of the base, and the small recesses and projections on the surface of the base are not formed in the dot shape but in the linear shape. A bonded adhesive is applied on the surface of the ground base, and as the bonded adhesive, a thermoplastic adhesive is used alone or mixed properly and applied by a bonded adhesive coating machine such as a roll coater. A decorative sheet is placed on the base on which the bonded adhesive is applied, and then heat clamped. In the case the pattern of the decorative sheet to be applied on the base is provided with direction properties such as grain or stripe, it is preferable to apply in a manner that the grinding direction and the pattern direction are conformed with. In the case of applying the decorative sheet on the surface and pattern face of the base, it is preferable to apply on both simultaneously from the viewpoint of shortening the working process and labor-saving. Thus the decorative plate can be provided with the massive and high class feeling.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, even if the surface of the substrate as described above was polished, it could not be made completely smooth, and small irregularities were scattered. Therefore, when a decorative sheet was attached to the surface of this substrate to form a decorative board, the unevenness of the substrate did not match the pattern of the decorative sheet on the surface of the decorative board, giving a sense of discomfort.

Therefore, it has been necessary to interpose paper between the substrate and the decorative sheet, to make the decorative sheet itself thicker, or to perform sealing treatment on the surface of the substrate. However, this may lead to a decline in the quality of the decorative board in terms of its physical properties.
This resulted in a decrease in the adhesion performance between the decorative sheet and the substrate, a phenomenon in which the decorative sheet part peeled off between the eyebrows, and increased costs.

In particular, when using particle board, fiberboard such as MDF, or inorganic board that has little continuous directionality, small irregularities on the surface of the board are not linear, but dotted, and dotted on the negative side. As a result, the surface of the decorative board to which the decorative sheet is attached has the disadvantage that small irregularities resembling orange peel appear.

On the other hand, when plywood is used as a substrate, the surface of the plywood is made of one continuous plywood veneer, and the unevenness on the plywood surface is mainly due to pipe pickling, so the unevenness is not dot-like. It is distributed linearly. Therefore, even when a decorative sheet was attached to the surface, the appearance was felt to be like the pattern of the decorative sheet, and it was not very noticeable in appearance. This method was developed to solve the above problem. After polishing the surface of the substrate in the length direction of the substrate, adhesive is applied to the surface of the substrate, and then a decorative sheet is applied to the top surface of the adhesive layer. The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a decorative board, in which a decorative sheet is attached to a substrate by placing a decorative sheet on the substrate and then applying heat and pressure.

The substrate of the present invention is a wood fiber board such as particle board or MDF, or an inorganic board such as ALC, slag gypsum board, or calcium silicate board, and has small irregularities in the form of dots on the surface.

For polishing, use a drum sander, belt sander, etc., and use abrasive paper having a particle size in the range of #I0θ to #240. For example, in belt sangu with two or three cylinders, the particle size is made finer from the inlet to the outlet, or abrasive paper of the same particle size is used.

The conditions for polishing the substrate are such that the surface of the substrate is dry. In addition, applying water, glue, ammonia, etc. to the surface of the substrate can prevent fuzzing, and this is particularly effective for wood fiberboards such as particle boards and MDF, which tend to fuzz a lot.

An adhesive is applied to the surface of the polished substrate, and the adhesive may be a thermosetting resin adhesive such as urea resin, melamine resin, or penzoquanamine resin, or a thermoplastic resin adhesive such as vinyl acetate resin adhesive. These are applied alone or in an appropriate mixture using an adhesive coating machine such as a roll coater.

If the pattern of the decorative sheet that is attached to the substrate has a directionality, such as a wood grain pattern or a striped pattern, make sure that the length direction of the substrate, that is, the direction of polishing, matches the direction of the pattern. When attached to the decorative sheet, the pattern pattern of the decorative sheet matches the linear unevenness on the surface of the substrate, so the linear unevenness generated on the surface of the decorative sheet synchronizes with the original pattern pattern of the decorative sheet, thereby enhancing the effect of the present invention. Furthermore, when a decorative sheet is attached to the front and back surfaces of the substrate, the above steps are performed at the same time. The work process is shorter and labor-saving when they are done simultaneously, and in this case, the board coated with adhesive is transported by a roller with an extremely narrow tip like a fin roller, so that the roller marks will not stick. This can prevent it from appearing on the surface of the decorative sheet afterwards.

[Operation] In claims 1 and 2 of the present invention, after polishing the surface of the substrate in the length direction of the substrate, the decorative sheet is attached to the surface of the substrate dotted on the surface of the substrate. By changing the uneven portions from dots to linear shapes extending in the length direction of the substrate, the uneven portions generated on the surface of the attached decorative sheet are made to be the same as the length direction of the decorative board.

In other words, although the main effect of the present invention is to appeal to the human senses, we have focused on the fact that in decorative boards, the unevenness that occurs in the length direction feels like the pattern of the decorative board itself. be.

In addition, in claims 3 and 4, the substrate is a fiberboard or an inorganic board because the fiberboard or inorganic board has small dot-like irregularities scattered all over the surface. This is because the effects of the present invention are best exhibited when a substrate is used.

[Effect] As described above, in the present invention, the surface of the substrate is polished in the length direction of the substrate, so that the irregularities on the substrate surface become elongated in the same direction as the length of the substrate, making it difficult to bond the decorative sheet in the subsequent process. The unevenness that appears on the surface of the finished decorative board that has been pasted through an agent is in the same direction as the length of the decorative board, and to the human sense, it looks like an embossed pattern that the decorative board itself has. I can feel it and don't feel any discomfort at all.

Furthermore, in the present invention, when a decorative sheet having a directionality such as a horizontal wood grain pattern or a striped pattern is made so that the direction of the pattern and the length direction of the substrate are the same, the linear unevenness of the pattern and the substrate is Since it is synchronized, it becomes -layer effective.
