For example, in order to increase the water absorption of cut flowers and maintain their freshness, they may be drained, rubbed with salt, crushed, baked, etc.
Addition of sugars such as glucose and sucrose, nutrients such as nitrates and potassium dihydrogen phosphate, metal salt film I1 agents such as 8-hydroxyquinoline sulfate, sodium hypochlorite, copper sulfate, silver nitrate, and chloram. Other methods exist, including using disinfectants such as phenicol and streptomycin, and metal salts and calcium phosphate (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 58-67602). However, these preservatives may not be able to sufficiently prolong the life of the flowers. Especially when using metal salts, depending on the salt concentration used, the type of cut flowers, etc., long-term processing may actually shorten the life of the flowers. Deterioration or chemical damage may occur.

The present invention is a highly practical cut flower preservative that eliminates the drawbacks of conventional preservatives, does not cause residual chemical damage when applied to any cut flower, exhibits a sufficient preservative effect, and is easy to use. is intended to provide.

The calcium phosphate disinfectant used in the present invention can be obtained by coexisting a water-soluble antibacterial metal salt during production of the calcium phosphate compound to be used, or by treating the calcium phosphate compound to be used with an aqueous solution of an antibacterial metal salt. After that, the product is obtained, and if necessary, the obtained product is calcined, preferably at 800° C. or higher.

The resulting product can be obtained by coexisting or treating hydroxyapatite with an aqueous solution of these antibacterial metal salts, and optionally calcining, preferably at 800°C or higher. At this time, the Ca/P molar ratio of the product does not need to be the stoichiometric molar ratio of hydroxyapatite of 10/6;
A product having a molar ratio of 1.4 to 1.8 is sufficient to be used as the antibacterial hydroxyapatite of the present invention. Antibacterial calcium phosphate compounds other than antibacterial hydroxyapatite can also be easily produced according to this method.

Used as H2.5-6.5. The content can be selected arbitrarily, and even if it is contained in a large amount, it will not cause chemical damage and will show sufficient effects, but it may be necessary to add a small amount, such as o, oot%, to obtain a stable dispersion or suspension. In this case, it is preferable to use agents conventionally used as preservatives, such as trace elements, sugars, fertilizer elements, other plant nutrients, fungicides, and oxidizing agents. I can say that. The use of preservatives containing these chemicals has traditionally been limited by the type of pores, the type and amount of chemicals used, and in some cases may not be effective or may even cause chemical damage and promote flower atrophy. even occurred. Of course,
They recognized that when these drugs coexist with antibacterial calcium phosphate compounds, they are less likely to cause harm. That is, when the antibacterial calcium phosphate compound of the present invention is used in combination with conventionally used preservatives, the preservative effect may vary depending on the drawbacks of conventional preservatives, such as the type of flower and the type and amount of the agent used. , the sustainability of the effect is poor, and it promotes flower atrophy.
The antibacterial calcium phosphate compound of the present invention is stable and therefore easy to formulate and can be safely used on any type of flower. That is, by mixing with other ingredients conventionally used as preservatives, tablets,
It can also be used in the form of granules, powders, water-soluble capsules, or concentrated solutions, and diluted with water to an optimal concentration depending on the purpose of use.

10 each of cut flowers of Barbara, Coral species) and 5 of each of gladioli were placed in separate containers containing an aqueous solution with the following composition, tap water, and 500 mg each of a commercially available preservative (comparative example), and heated at 20 to 25 degrees. The number of healthy flowers was investigated after a number of days had passed indoors in C.The water absorption amount was 100% when using tap water.
The ratio was calculated as follows.
それぞれの花の萎縮程度を観察し、 保存日数を調査した。Observe the degree of withering of each flower, The number of storage days was investigated.
