Containers for storing cosmetics are generally required to have a beautiful appearance that is different from containers for storing ordinary beverages, in order to give an image appropriate to the contents. For this reason, for example, the surfaces of plastic containers and the like are coated with beautiful coatings (including displays), such as metallic coatings with a metallic luster or coatings with a pearl-like luster, either singly or in combination. The reality is that it is difficult to obtain an innovative design by emitting fluorescent colors or making the edges shine using only such painting methods.

In view of the above-mentioned conventional circumstances, the object of this invention is to provide a container using fluorescent dye-containing plastic that allows a more novel design than conventional containers.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides that the container body 2 and/or the cap 1 have the following features as shown in the drawings:
The inner part 3 is made of plastic containing fluorescent dye or ordinary plastic without fluorescent dye, and the inner part 3 is made of plastic containing fluorescent dye, and the edge of the inner part 3 is located at a position that does not reach the edge of the inner part 3. It consists of an outer part 4 disposed over an inner part, and is characterized in that the edges of the outer part 4 form sharp cut edges 5, 5'.

Recently, transparent fluorescent dye-containing plastics have been developed that are colored by adding fluorescent dyes, and plastics with various colors have become commercially available.
Such fluorescent dye-containing plastics include, for example, transparent plastics such as polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), polycarbonate (PC), and polystyrene (PS), as well as known fluorescent dyes (for example,

It is natural that products using fluorescent dye-containing plastics as mentioned above emit fluorescent colors, but the inventor of this invention also discovered that sheets or plates made of fluorescent dye-containing plastics had a special luminosity at their edges. By using this phenomenon, he was able to come up with this idea.

It is well known that fluorescence is used for a variety of purposes because when a fluorescent dye is exposed to light, the dye absorbs the light and emits light with a unique wavelength that is different from the light it receives. It is known that energy from the outside is not limited to light, but also other energy such as radiation energy can cause unique light emission. However, little is known about the effects of mixing such fluorescent dyes into transparent plastic materials other than that they emit fluorescence.

特徴もある。
When light is applied to a sheet or plate containing fluorescent dye, the fluorescent dye itself becomes a light source. Therefore, the entire inside of the sheet-like object or plate-like object becomes a light emitting source, and the direction of fluorescence extends around the entire circumference of the light emitting source. What we normally recognize as fluorescence is the light emitted from the outside of this fluorescent plate. However, in reality, this fluorescence is a part of the fluorescence emitted by the fluorescent dye, and a considerable part of it is reflected laterally and, as a result, inside the plate-like object inside the surface of the plate-like object and emitted laterally. Becomes light. The same applies to the light emitted from the bottom of the plate-like object. As a result, a considerable portion of the fluorescence generated throughout the interior of the plate is accumulated and radiated laterally from the inside of the plate, so that the cut edge formed at the edge of the plate has a high brightness of fluorescence. will be emitted. This phenomenon does not change even if the plate-like object has a curved surface. Although this radiation to the outside exhibits a fluorescent color because it is emitted by integrating fluorescence, it has a very high brightness and is characterized by its outstanding brightness. Such an effect can be obtained even in the dark by applying a fluorescence stimulant to a part of this sheet, and the container will emit fluorescence and the cut edges 5, 5' and the cut portions 6, 6' of the container will glow brightly. It also has the characteristic of looking like something.

The above-mentioned fluorescent glow can be obtained by cutting the cut parts 6, 6' into a plate-shaped object in an appropriate shape and placing them so that the cut surfaces are as flat as possible, and a bright part matching the appropriate shape will be formed. This phenomenon can also be used to create a desired glitter pattern or display on the container. Furthermore, if letters or patterns are applied to the outer surface of the inner part 3 of the container, these letters or patterns can be seen from the outside through the outer part 4 as beautiful fluorescent objects.

In Figures 1 and 2, 1 is the cap, 2 is the container body, 3 is the inner part of the cap 1 and the container body 2 made of ordinary plastic without fluorescent dye, and 4 is made of plastic with fluorescent dye. , indicates an outer portion whose edge (lower edge for the cap 1, upper edge for the container body 2) does not reach the edge of the inner portion 3 and is disposed to cover the inner portion. 5 and 5' are outer part 4
Reference numerals 6 and 6' indicate sharp cut edges formed on the edge of the outer portion 4, and 6 and 6' indicate cut portions formed on the outer portion 4, respectively. The cut edges 5, 5' and the cut cut portions 6, 6' become bright parts. Therefore, when the cap 1 is placed on the container body 2, the entire container will have brilliance in three places as shown in FIG. Although the container shown in this embodiment can only be represented by black and white lines in the drawing, the entire container is fluorescent, and bright fluorescent light is emitted from the cut edges 5, 5' and cut cut portions 6, 6'. The appearance becomes truly beautiful. Therefore, the effect of this invention is very large.

This invention has the above-mentioned structure, so it can produce things that cannot be achieved with conventional painting methods, such as emitting a fluorescent color or having sharp cut edges on the outside that do not reach the edges of the inside. The luminescence of the fluorescent dye can make the container shine, and by applying this to the container body or cap, it is possible to create a beautiful and novel design for the appearance of the container. In addition, since the inner and outer parts have a double structure, other cut parts etc. may be cut into the outer surface of the outer part, thereby further improving the decorativeness of the container body or cap. It is extremely valuable from a practical point of view.
