[Detailed description of the invention] (Purpose of the invention) This invention relates to a new structure for a branch holder that is necessary to prevent the branches of fruit trees from drooping. The present invention aims to provide a branch holder that can be used in combination to secure branches.

(Prior art) For fruit trees such as pear trees and apple trees that have a relatively large number of twigs, thick wires such as No. 8 wires are strung vertically and horizontally at regular intervals at a predetermined height. The branches have been tied to the branch line with thin ropes to prevent the heavy branches from breaking due to the weight or the shaking of the wind.

However, this work of securing branches to the branching line is not only extremely complicated and extremely difficult work for orchard managers, but it is also necessary to prevent the branches from slipping on the branching line. It is difficult to secure the tree to the tree, and if it sways due to the wind, the branch at the fixed point may rub against the branch line and cause damage to the fruit tree, or it may grow and move beyond the line. When it is necessary to secure tall branches, branch lines alone are not suitable for securing the branches, and each orchard farmer raises bamboo from the branch line and attaches it to the bamboo. For tying branches together, or by fitting a sub-rod bent into a dogleg shape, as seen in Japanese Patent Publication No. 1983-11, into the fitting groove at the top of the support fitting raised from the branch tension line, This was done by protruding and fixing one end of the rod above the branch line in the direction in which the branch extends, and supporting the branch along the secondary rod.

However, just attaching these conventional bamboo or sub-sticks to the branch line is a difficult task, and it is also a doubly complicated task of attaching branches to the bamboo or sub-sticks and tying them together. was to be forced to do so. These complicated tasks have to be carried out repeatedly year after year as the fruit trees grow, and fruit tree farmers have to spend a great deal of effort on pruning each season. .

(Structure of the invention) As clearly understood from the representative embodiment of this invention shown in the drawings, the branch holder of this invention is
The branch support consists of a horizontal leg part 1 for wrapping around the branch tension line 4, a rising part 2 extending upward from one end of the horizontal leg part 1, and a branch receiving top part 3 continuous to the upper end of the rising part 2. The top part 3 has a branch receiving recess 3
1 is formed, and a bent fixed edge 32 is formed adjacent to the branch receiving recess 31 as the base body.

The horizontal leg part 1 and the rising part 2 are formed symmetrically on both sides of the branch receiver top part 3, and the most stable structure is achieved when the whole is realized in a hat-shaped front shape (the branch receiver shown in Example 1 described later). However, it is of course not limited to this shape, and it is also possible to omit the horizontal leg part 1 and the rising part 2 on either side of the branch receiver top part 3 and make it a shaped one. .

In the case of the one formed in this abbreviated form, the bending fixing part 32 is the omitted rising part 2.
Although it is desirable to form the branch receiver top portion 3 adjacent to the branch receiver recess 31 at the end of the side branch receiver top portion 3, the present invention is not necessarily limited to this configuration.

The number of the branch receiving recesses 31 and the bending fixed edges 32 of the branch receiving top part 3 is not limited, and in addition to one each as in the embodiment described later, a plurality of them or a pair may be used. Of course, it is also possible to form it by doing so.

The branch support of this invention is usually formed by bending a wire of the same degree as the branch wire 4 or a vinyl-covered wire, but in some cases it may be made of a suitable elastically deformable material such as stainless steel or plastic. It is also possible to form it by twisting it.

(Example) The perspective view of FIG. 1 shows a known support metal fitting as described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 55-11, etc.
This invention, as shown in Figure 2 and below, is an improvement over the known ones.
The structure of the branch receiver top part 3 is characterized by a bent fixed edge 3 adjacent to the branch receiver recess 31.
2 is formed by continuously bending a wire or a vinyl-covered wire having the same size as the branch hanging wire 4 so that the wire has a longer dimension than the width of the branch receiving recess 31.

The horizontal leg part 1 is made by wrapping the already stretched branch line 4 (usually stretched from one end of the orchard to the other, so there is some slack) several times. However, if the tip of the horizontal leg 1 is simply straight, there is a risk that the wrapping of the branching wire 4 will naturally loosen or come off over a long period of time. Similar to the known one, the tip is slightly bent at the edge 11.
It will be convenient if it is formed so that it becomes .

(Function) As shown in FIG. 3, the branch holder of this invention having the above-mentioned configuration is constructed by winding the branch tension wire 4 around the horizontal leg 1 around the branch 5 to be supported. After fixing, branch receiver recess 31 of branch receiver top 3
After applying and fitting from below the branch 5, bend the fixed edge 3 so that it is in the state shown in Figure 2 (B).
By bending the branches 2, the branches 5 are temporarily fixed.

If this temporary fixation is insufficient, use the wire rod 6
Once the branch 5 and the branch support top 3 are tied together with the
It will definitely be supported by the top. At that time, if the length of the rising part 2 does not match the length from the branch tension line 4 to the supporting branch 5, the bending angle between the lower end of the rising part 2 and the horizontal leg part 1 is changed (in the example shown). Horizontal legs 1 on both sides of the branch support top 3,
In the case of a hat having a cross-sectional shape in which the rising portions 2 are arranged symmetrically, the branches can be expanded or narrowed by widening or narrowing the symmetrical horizontal leg portions 1 and 2 and the horizontal leg portions 1 and 2. 5 can be supported by freely adjusting the desired height position on the branch line 4.

If it is necessary to remove this branch holder for some reason, it can be easily done by simply reversing the process of attaching it. In this way, no tools are required for attaching or removing the branch holder.

(Effects) Therefore, the branch holder of this invention employs the bent fixed edge 32 close to the branch holder recess as the structure of the branch holder top 3, so that the branch holder can be attached to the branch tension line 4. Once the branch 5 is attached to the branch 5, the only thing left to do is to fit the branch 5 into the branch receiving recess 31 and bend the fixed edge 32 onto the branch 5.
Temporary fixation can be completed by simply bending it over the top of the tree, and if it is a twig, it can be left as it is, or if it is a strong branch 5, it can be tied with a thin rope, etc., as shown in Figure 3. Since the branches can be securely fixed by tying them with the wire rods 6, these operations can be extremely simplified compared to the conventional methods.

In particular, in the case of a structure in which horizontal legs and rising sections are arranged symmetrically on both sides of the top of the branch support, not only will there be no problem in terms of strength even when the height is adjusted. , it also has the effect of increasing stability, which increases its value as a branch holder.Furthermore, it is easy to manufacture and can be provided at a low cost if the entire structure is continuously bent with wires etc. It has an excellent effect.

Furthermore, the branch 5 supported by the branch holder of this invention has a structure in which the branch 5 and the top part 3 of the branch holder, the horizontal leg part 1 and the branch tension line 4 are attached so as to be rotatable as appropriate. Because of this, even if the branches are shaken by strong winds, there is almost no chance that the fixed parts of the branches will be rubbed and damaged, and this will weaken the fruit tree and cause the fruit to become poor. There is also less risk of problems like those that existed in the past, such as branches breaking or, in the worst case, branches breaking.

As mentioned above, the branch holder of this invention has an extremely simple structure, is easy to manufacture, can be provided at low cost, and is extremely easy to install, so the work of supporting the branch is easy.
