Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain the selection of an called terminal interface in response to a type of a caller terminal equipment by adding an indication for a called terminal equipment to call setting information from a caller terminal equipment requesting representative selection, identifying the indication by a called subscriber exchange and selecting a called terminal equipment matched with the indication by the called terminal equipment type. CONSTITUTION:A called terminal equipment type indication G4FAX is added to call setting information from a caller terminal equipment 16 requesting representative selection, it is identified by the subscriber exchange 10 which has a function of identifying the indication and selecting a called terminal equipment matched with the called terminal equipment type indication.
