When the iron body is placed on a stand, electricity is started to flow to the heater located at the base of the iron body, causing initial heating. is performed, and when the temperature of the base surface reaches the set temperature (for example, 200 ° C.), heater control is performed to maintain the base surface temperature at the set temperature,
It goes into standby mode.

In this case, a significant temperature drop on the base surface causes the temperature to drop immediately to the power supply temperature, resulting in a short usable time.

In the case of , the set temperature Tset = T, + 10℃.In other words, in the case of ■, the usage time t2 is short and the temperature drop value (TI Tz) is also relatively small, so the usage condition is ironing small items and thin fabrics. The obtained temperature decrease rate Td is compared with a preset standard decrease rate Tx, and when the temperature decrease rate Td becomes equal to or higher than the standard decrease rate Tx,
The point is that the set temperature Tset is changed to a temperature set value T2 that is slightly higher than the temperature set value T1 set by the temperature setting switch (5).

The available time will be shortened, but by increasing the set temperature Tset when the rate of temperature decrease Td exceeds a certain level, the usable time corresponding to this temperature increase ΔT(T, -Tυ) will be increased.
