This invention relates to the bridge of eyeglass frames, and in particular, the optimal fitting for adjusting the width of the crest of the eyeglass frame. The present invention relates to a bridge for an eyeglass frame that provides a holding mechanism to the eyeglass frame.
【0002】0002
Conventional general eyeglass frames are available in several ready-made sizes for one type of eyeglass. It had been. However, there are individual differences in the shape of the user's face, and the Techniques for bending the temples and adjusting the angle of inclination of the temples relative to the front. I was adjusting the fit of my glasses in a surgical procedure. Originally, the size of eyeglass frames was distance between the two temples, and the distance between the two temples when looking at the far distance. It is measured based on the distance between the centers of both eyes. Also, between the human temples There are individual differences in the distance between the two eyes, but the ratio of the distance between the eyes to that distance is the same. It is fixed.
0003 However, for example, the ratio of the distance between both eyes to the distance between both temples is extremely large. For fitting for small or small people, eyeglass frames are manufactured based on the above premise. Therefore, conventional fitting technology has its limits.
0004 In order to perform fitting according to the user's facial shape as described above, The bridge must be replaced, and several types of resin eyeglass frames and bridge parts are used. Due to variations in trying to meet consumer needs by The burden of designing, manufacturing, and managing many of the parts placed on the manufacturer is enormous. there was.
[0005] Next, let's talk about eyeglass frames for people with severe myopia, which have thicker lenses. As shown in FIG. 7, the cross-sectional shape of the lens 110 is such that the center layer of the lens 110 is thin. It is concave with extremely thick edges. When using this lens 110, the peripheral edge of the lens It protrudes behind the rim of the mirror frame. Therefore, the user suffers from myopic compression. This results in glasses frames that have an undesirable shape in terms of appearance, such as causing scratches. overcome this condition In order to reduce the thickness of the lens 110, thin lines are carved on the outer surface of the rim parallel to the rim. A method using the illusion of showing the lens 110 or cutting the lens 110 along the line B in FIG. Therefore, methods to suppress the thickness of the rim have actually been implemented.
[0006] Furthermore, it is said that the lens 110 is cut at a relatively thin part of the lens 110 indicated by line A in FIG. A method has also been implemented, in which the size L1 of the lens for severe myopia is the same as that of a general lens. A situation occurs in which the lenses are smaller than the lens size L2, and these two smaller lenses A longer-than-usual bridge was required to connect the bridges.
[0007] Also, when talking about eyeglass frames for children, the frames are tailored to the characteristics of the child's facial shape. It is necessary to match. However, the child's eyes are placed in the center of the face compared to the width of the face between the temples. There is a tendency to approach. The lens position is adjusted to the center of both eyes, so A shorter bridge than usual was needed to connect the two lenses that were close to each other. . Furthermore, as children approach adulthood, the position of their eyes shifts to the outside of the face. As you move, the width of your face, including your temples, will also increase. suitable for this child's physical growth. Purchasing multiple eyeglass frames at the same time placed a financial burden on consumers. .
[0008] From this point of view, there is a demand for eyeglass frames with a mechanism to adjust the width of the crest, and conventional Glass frames as shown in FIGS. 4 and 6 have been proposed. The first conventional method shown in Fig. 4 In the example, a bridge portion 102 connecting the left and right rims 100, 101 of the eyeglass frame Connecting rods 103 with screw threads carved in opposite directions on both the left and right ends are installed horizontally, as shown in Fig. 5. As shown in detail in FIG. The thread width H is adjusted by rotating the adjusting screw cylinder 104. (See Publication No. 9-55727).
[0009] In addition, in the second conventional example shown in FIG. The joint mechanism has three hinges 105 attached to the part, and opening and closing of these hinges 105 changes the mountain width H. (Refer to Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 181718/1983).
【0010】0010
However, among the above-mentioned conventional techniques, as in the first conventional example, the adjustment screw 10 When adjusting the thread width H by rotating 4, the screw mechanism is sealed and closed. Therefore, it is easy for sweat to get in and corrode, and maintenance work such as lubrication is difficult. It was.
[0011] Also, since the diameter of the screw is small, it takes a lot of force to turn the screw, making it difficult to operate.
0012 Further, when the screw is rotated to widen the thread width H, the threads of both connecting rods 103 are exposed. In addition, in order to maintain the strength of the connection part, it is necessary to increase the diameter of the adjustment screw of the connection rod 103. This has caused problems such as spoiling the aesthetic appearance of the eyeglass frame.
[0013] Next, in the case of the second conventional example in which the peak width H is adjusted by opening and closing the hinge 105, the bridge There was no means for maintaining the opening/closing angle of the hinge 105 of the hinge portion 102. Therefore As you use it, the angle shifts and you have to readjust it, making it inconvenient to use. stomach.
[0014] Furthermore, since there is no mechanism to equalize the opening and closing angles of the left and right hinges, It is difficult to adjust the opening/closing angle of 05 uniformly on the left and right sides. Therefore, the left and right The focal point of the lens and the center of both eyes do not match, making it impossible to correct vision correctly.
[0015] The present invention was devised to solve the above-mentioned problems of the prior art. The aim is to make maintenance work easier and to improve the alignment between the adjusted left and right rims. To provide a bridge for an eyeglass frame that can maintain the width of the crest.
【0016】[0016]
[Means to solve the problem] In order to achieve the above object, the present invention connects the left and right rims of the front frame of the eyeglass frame. It has a bridge body for connecting the bridge body and the left and right rims. An indirect mechanism is interposed in the connection with at least one of the rims, and the indirect mechanism can be opened and closed. This makes it possible to adjust the mountain width between the left and right rims, and to maintain the articulation mechanism at a predetermined opening. It is characterized in that it is provided with a holding means for holding it.
[0017] The holding means consists of a tightening means such as a screw member that tightens the joint mechanism and allows it to be opened freely. It is preferable to do so.
【0018】[0018]
In the bridge of the eyeglass frame with the above configuration, by adjusting the opening degree of the articulation mechanism, By adjusting the mountain width of the left and right rims and maintaining the opening using the opening holding means, Maintain the adjusted mountain width.
[0019] When the holding means is constituted by a tightening means such as a screw member, the tightening means When the mountain width is adjusted by opening the articulation mechanism and the desired mountain width is obtained. to fix the joint and maintain a constant mountain width.
【0020】[0020]
The present invention will be explained below based on the illustrated embodiments. Eye according to an embodiment of the present invention In Fig. 1 showing the bridge of the lens frame, 1 indicates the bridge body, and this bridge A wedge main body 1 is connected to left and right rims 3 via an articulation mechanism 2. The articulation mechanism 2 is It has one link 4, and both ends of this link 4 are rotatable between the bridge body 1 and the rim 3. It is supported by the present.
[0021] That is, first and second shaft holes 5 and 6 are provided at both ends of the link 4, and the first shaft hole A first link pin 7 protruding from the bridge body 1 is rotatably inserted into the second link pin 5. A second link pin 8 fixed to the rim 3 is rotatably inserted into the shaft hole 6 of the rim. No. The first link pin 7 is formed to protrude from the back side of the bridge body 1, and the second link pin 8 is formed to protrude from the back side of the bridge body 1. The first link pin 7 protrudes forward from the rim 3, and the first link pin 7 is inserted into the first shaft hole of the link 4. 5 from the front, and the second link pin 8 is inserted into the second shaft hole 6 of the link 4 from the rear. is included. The tips of the first and second link pins 7 and 8 are provided with first and second screws. Holes 9 and 10 are formed respectively, and first and second holes are provided as fastening members constituting the holding means. The two screw members 11 and 12 are screwed in, and the head 1 of each of the first and second screw members 11 and 12 is screwed. 3 and 14 to prevent the first and second link pins 7 and 8 from coming off.
[0022] Here, the first and second shaft holes 5 and 6 of the link 4 are for insertion of the first and second link pins 7 and 8. The first and second link pins are formed into a tapered shape that gradually becomes smaller in diameter toward the entry direction. The outer circumferences of 7 and 8 gradually become smaller toward the tips, following the inner circumferences of the first and second shaft holes 5 and 6. It is formed into a tapered shape that becomes the diameter, and is used to tighten the first and second screw members 11 and 12. By doing so, it is possible to fit into a wedge shape and securely fix it, ensuring sufficient strength. can.
[0023] On the inner periphery of the first and second shaft holes 5 and 6, narrow grooves are cut in the vertical or horizontal direction. This makes it possible to prevent rotation more reliably. If the bridge of the eyeglass frame with the above configuration is By loosening the first and second screw members 11 and 12 and rotating the link 4, , the width H between the left and right rims 3 can be adjusted as shown in Figures 2(a) and 2(b). . In other words, when increasing the mountain width H, the left and right links are 4. Rotate it so that it opens in a figure eight shape. On the other hand, when reducing the mountain width, Fig. 2 ( As shown in b), rotate the left and right links 4, 4 so as to close them in an inverted figure-eight shape.
[0024] In this embodiment, the link 4 is placed on the back side of the bridge body 1, so The link 4 is hidden by the bridge body 1 so that the appearance is not spoiled. and tone After adjusting, tighten the first and second screw members 11 and 12 to obtain the specified thread width. Fix it.
[0025] By loosening the screw members 11 and 12 in this way, the opening degree of the joint part of the link 4 can be adjusted. In other words, the width H between the left and right rims 3, 3 can be freely adjusted, and the left and right angles can be kept uniform. Because it can be held in place, it is ideal for glasses for people with severe myopia. Also, when used in children's glasses, , the width can be adjusted according to the child's growth, and there is no need to purchase multiple eyeglass frames. Furthermore, it can be applied to glasses frames of various sizes, so you can design bridge parts of different sizes. There is no need to manufacture the product, and inventory management is easy. In addition, the shape of the user's face This allows for optimal fitting.
[0026] FIG. 3 shows another embodiment of the present invention, in which the same components as in the above embodiment are shown. In this embodiment, the first and second link pins 7' are given the same reference numerals. , 8' outer peripheral surface and the inner peripheral surfaces of the first and second shaft holes 5' and 6' of the link 4 are hexagonal. It is shaped like an octagon. In this way, the opening/closing angle of link 4 can be adjusted. The angle of the polygon can be used as a guide, and the opening/closing angle can be adjusted by adjusting the focal point of the left and right lenses and the angle of the left and right lenses. Correct vision correction can be performed by matching the position of the center of the eye.
[0027] The other configurations and functions are the same as those of the above embodiment, so The same reference numerals are given to the parts, and the explanation thereof will be omitted.
