Connecting and fixing corrugated pipes to structural members such as wiring boxes,
A special joint (connector) is used to connect corrugated pipes. This is because the pipe wall of a corrugated pipe is undulated in a bellows-like manner along the axial direction, and the outer surface is uneven, so it is possible to connect a pipe with a smooth outer surface such as a conventional regular steel pipe or synthetic resin pipe. It is not possible to use a joint for this purpose as is, but a joint that is suitable for the uneven shape of the corrugated pipe is required.

The nut 2, which has a cylindrical shape with a larger diameter than the joint body 1, has a female thread 2a formed on the inner surface, and a plurality of pawls 2b extending in the axial direction from the edge of the nut 2 along the inner surface in the circumferential direction. At the tip of the claw piece 2b, a claw portion 2c is provided which projects toward the center. The nut 2 is made of synthetic resin or the like, and has a claw piece 2b that can elastically bend or turn around the root.

Fig. 8 shows a state in which the corrugated tube is connected, and when the corrugated tube 3 is inserted from the end of the nut 2 on the side where the claw piece 2b is provided, the claw piece 2b is elastically bent and deformed, causing the corrugated tube to form. After passing through the pipe 3, the claw piece 2b is restored, so that the claw part 2C is attached to the corrugated pipe 3.
It fits into and is locked in the trough 3a formed on the outer surface of. - When trying to pull out the corrugated tube 3 inserted into the nasoto 2 in the original direction, a force in the direction of turning the pawl piece 2b toward the center is applied to the contact point between the corrugated tube 3 and the pawl portion 2C. Therefore, the claw portion 2C is pressed against the trough portion 3a of the corrugated tube 3, and the corrugated tube 3 cannot be moved. In this way, the corrugated tube 3 is connected and fixed to the nut 2.

When constructing wiring for a building, the corrugated pipe 3 that has already been installed may be removed due to design changes, construction errors, or other causes, such as changing the length or connection points of the corrugated pipe 3. At this time, it is often necessary not only to remove the nut 2 and corrugated tube 3 from the joint body 1, but also to remove the corrugated tube 3 from the nut 2.

However, in the conventional corrugated pipe joint having the above structure, the nut 2 screwed into the joint body 1 is
Although the nut 2 can be removed from the joint body 1 by turning it, there is a problem in that it is difficult to remove the corrugated tube 3 from the nut 2. As described above, the claw portion 2c of the nut 2 is locked to the trough portion 3a of the corrugated tube 3,
The more you try to pull out the corrugated tube 3 from the nut 2, the more the claw 2
C will be pressed so as to bite into the trough 3a, so if the -danant 2 and the corrugated tube 3 are connected,
It is extremely difficult to remove it again.

Therefore, as shown in FIG. 9, in the past, after cutting the corrugated tube 3 on the inside of the mounting position of the nut 2 (X-X line position), the short corrugated tube 3 remaining on the nut 2 side was cut. The claw piece 2b is moved in the direction of the arrow, that is, in the direction in which when the claw portion 2c is pushed by the unevenness of the corrugated tube 3, the claw piece 2b is pushed away toward the outer circumferential side and removed. The nut 2 is again inserted and attached to the main body of the corrugated pipe 3, and new construction is performed.

However, this method requires steps of cutting and extracting the corrugated tube 3 and reinstalling the nut 2, which increases the number of man-hours and has extremely poor workability. In addition, when pulling out the short corrugated tube 3 remaining on the nut 2 side, it must be pulled out carefully and slowly in accordance with the elastic movement of the claw portion 2c and the claw piece 2b, which is very troublesome.
If the corrugated tube 3 is forcibly pulled out, the claw portion 2c and the claw piece 2b will be damaged, making the nut 2 unusable. Furthermore, there is a high possibility that the nut 2 will be thrown away together with the short corrugated tube 3, or that the removed nut 2 will be lost before being reused. Managing the nuts 2, such as replenishing the nuts 2, is troublesome and requires extra costs.

The basic structure of the joint body and nut may be the same as a normal corrugated pipe joint. For example, the fitting body can be used to connect a nut to one end and connect the other end to a structural member such as a wiring box to connect and fix a corrugated pipe to the structural member, or to connect the grooves and grooves at both ends of the fitting body. There are some that connect and fix corrugated pipes together. The structure of the part that connects the joint body to the structural member can be freely used such as threaded connection, fitting connection, and other connection structures of ordinary pipe joints, but the connection structure of the joint body and nut, and the nut and corrugated pipe Have the structure as shown below.

The nut is basically provided with a claw piece similar to a conventional corrugated pipe joint. The claw piece is provided on the inner surface of the cylindrical nut, extends in the axial direction with one end as a base point, and is elastically rotatable. It is preferable to arrange a plurality of claw pieces at equal intervals along the entire inner circumference of the navel so that the entire circumference of the corrugated tube can be evenly locked, but the number and spacing of the claw pieces can be changed freely. can. It is preferable that the claw pieces are integrally molded with the main body of the nut so that they can turn elastically due to the elasticity of the material itself. However, the claw pieces may be made of a different material from the nut body, or It is also possible to install a spring that applies a certain biasing force.

The claw piece is provided with an operating part whose tip protrudes in the axial direction. The operating portion is preferably provided closer to the tip in the axial direction than the claw portion so that it can come into contact with the pushing portion provided at the end in the axial direction of the joint body. It is preferable that the operating parts have a shape that allows them to easily slide against each other (and be easily lifted toward the outer circumference) when they come into contact with the pushing part of the joint body.Specifically, the inner end of the operating part If you cut off the edges and create a slope, the above operation will be easier to perform.

An engaging convex portion is provided on the inner surface of the claw piece at a position different from the claw portion. The engagement protrusion may be shaped like a square trapezoid, a circular trapezoid, or
Any other protrusion shape such as an elliptical trapezoid shape can be adopted. The engagement protrusion may be formed at any position as long as it does not interfere with the movement of the claw piece. A single engagement protrusion may be used, but if multiple engagement protrusions are provided at opposing positions in the diametrical direction of the nut, the nut and the joint body can operate smoothly and the assembly strength of the nut and the joint body can be increased. I can do it. The engagement protrusion may be integrally molded with other parts of the nut, or the metal engagement protrusion may be joined to a synthetic resin nut.

The introduction portion of the engagement groove is provided so as to continue in the axial direction from the edge of the joint body. The introduction part may be relatively short as long as it can guide the engagement convex part of the nut that is fitted into the joint body from the axial direction into the engagement groove, and it does not need to be exactly parallel to the axial direction. good.

The fixing part has a shape and length that prevents the nut from being pulled out even if the nut is pulled out in the axial direction while the engagement convex part of the nut is engaged, or even if vibration or impact is applied during use. . Therefore, it needs to be formed in the circumferential direction perpendicular to the axial direction and have a length that allows the engaging protrusion to be reliably engaged. If a part of the fixed part is narrower than the engagement protrusion and can be elastically deformed, or if a spring is provided to press the engagement protrusion, the engagement protrusion will remain intact even when vibrations or shocks are applied. The part becomes difficult to remove.

In the release part, when the engagement convex part of the nut slides along the release part, the entire nut moves a sufficient distance to the back of the joint body, and the operating part of the claw moves to the pushing part of the joint body. in contact with,
The length must be sufficient to ensure the amount of movement of the claw piece and the claw portion. If the inclination of the release part in the circumferential direction is steep, the nut will move significantly with a small rotation angle, but if the inclination angle is gentle, the movement of the claw piece due to the contact between the pushing part and the operating part can be performed smoothly. The entire release part may be inclined at the same angle, or the release part may have partially different inclination angles (at different locations), such as by providing a portion parallel to the circumferential direction at the end of the release part.

The pushing part formed at the end of the joint body has a shape that allows the pushing part to move the operating part, that is, the claw and the claw, toward the outer periphery when it comes into contact with the operating part of the claw of the nut. Therefore, it has a tapered shape that tapers toward the tip. The tapered state may be a linear inclination, a curved inclination, or a part with a step.

To assemble the joint body and the nut, the nut is fitted onto the end of the joint body so that the engagement protrusion of the nut is engaged with the engagement groove of the joint body. The engagement convex portion of the nut enters the introduction portion of the engagement groove from the end of the joint body. After that, when the nut is rotated from the axial direction to the circumferential direction, the engagement protrusion enters the fixed part from the introduction part, and due to the engagement action between the engagement protrusion and the fixed part,
The nut and the joint body are connected and fixed. In other words, when the engaging convex portion is engaged with the fixing portion formed along the circumferential direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the joint body, the nut is prevented from moving in the axial direction, so that the nut is removed from the joint body. There are no exceptions.

Next, a method for removing the corrugated pipe from the joint body will be explained. When the nut is turned so that the engagement protrusion moves from the fixing part to the release part, as the engagement protrusion slides along the slope of the release part, the engagement protrusion and the entire nut will move. As it rotates, it moves toward the back of the joint body in the axial direction. When the nut moves to the back side, the claw piece on the inner surface of the nut, that is, the operating section also moves to the back side. Then, the operating section comes into contact with the pushing section provided at the tip of the joint body. If the nut is still turned and moved to the back of the joint body, the operating part of the claw piece will ride along the tapered slope of the pushing part, and the claw piece will turn toward the outer circumference. , the claw portion comes off from the trough of the corrugated tube toward the outer circumference, and the engagement between the corrugated tube and the claw portion is released. If the corrugated tube is pulled out from the nut in this state, the corrugated tube will be pulled out smoothly without any resistance.

In addition, when inserting another corrugated tube into the nut after pulling out the corrugated tube from the nut, if the claws and the claw portion move toward the outer circumference, the corrugated tube will move past the claw portion and the claw piece. It is inserted smoothly without hitting anything. After inserting the corrugated tube, turn the nut and move the engaging protrusion toward the fixed part. The operating part of the nut that was riding on the pushing part of the joint body will move away from the pushing part and return to its original position. The corrugated tube can be fixed by returning to the position and engaging the claw portion of the claw piece with the trough portion of the corrugated tube.

First, to explain the method of connecting the joint body 10 and the nut 20, as shown in FIG. state, insert the nut 20 from the axial direction into the joint body 10.
When it is fitted into the nut connecting part 12, the engaging convex part 28
moves along the introduction part 52, and the nut 20 is fitted into the joint body 10. At the stage when the engagement protrusion 28 of the nut 20 has moved to the tip of the introduction part 52 of the engagement groove 50, the nut 20
When the engaging groove 50 is turned in the direction of the fixing part 54 (clockwise direction A in FIG. 1), the engaging convex part 28 moves along the fixing part 54. In this way, if the engagement protrusion 28 and the fixing part 54 of the engagement groove 50 are engaged, even if the nut 20 is subsequently pulled out in the axial direction, the engagement protrusion 28 and the engagement groove 50 will not be engaged. This means that movement is prevented, and the oak 1-20 is connected and fixed to the joint body 10. In this state, as shown in FIG. 3, the operating part 26 provided at the tip of the claw piece 22 of the nut 20 is placed with a slight gap between it and the pushing part 14 of the joint body 10. be done.

That is, insert the corrugated tube 30 inside the nut 20,
The claw portion 24 of the nut 20 is engaged with the trough portion 32 on the outer surface of the corrugated tube 30, thereby fixing the corrugated tube 30 and the nut 20. At this time, when the corrugated tube 30 is moved toward the back side of the nut 20, the side surface of the trough portion 32 of the corrugated tube 30 comes into contact with the inclined side surface of the pawl portion 24 of the nut 20, so that the pawl Since force acts in the direction of pushing up the portion 24 and pivoting the claw piece 22 toward the outer circumference, the corrugated tube 30 can be inserted relatively smoothly. However, when trying to move the corrugated tube 30 in the opposite direction, the side surfaces of the trough portions 32 of the corrugated tube 30 come into contact with the vertical side surfaces of the claw portions 24 of the nut 20, so that a force is applied in the direction of pushing it up toward the outer circumference. does not act, and moreover, force acts in the direction of turning the claw piece 22 toward the center, so the claw portion 24 is pushed further into the valley portion 32. Therefore, although it is easy to insert the corrugated tube 30 into the nut 20, the corrugated tube 30 once inserted is
cannot be extracted from Natsuto 20.

To remove the corrugated tube 30 from the nut 20, turn the nut 20 in the opposite direction to the direction shown in FIG. 1 when the nut 20 is connected and fixed to the joint body 10, that is, in the direction B in the figure. Then, the engagement convex portion 28 of the nut 20 enters the release portion 56 from the fixing portion 54 of the engagement groove 50. Since the release portion 56 is inclined toward the back in the axial direction, the engagement convex portion 28 and the nut 20 move toward the back of the joint body 10. This state is shown in FIG. 4, in which the engagement convex portion 28 is engaged with the release portion 56, and the entire nut 20 has moved toward the back side of the joint body 10. nut 20
On the inner surface of the joint body 1, the operating portion 26 at the tip of the claw piece 22
Since it moves toward the pushing part 14 of 0, the operating part 26 rides up along the slope of the pushing part 14, and the entire claw piece 22 turns toward the outer circumferential side. When the claw piece 22 turns to the outer circumferential side, the claw part 24 also comes off from the trough part 32 of the corrugated tube 30 and moves to the outer circumferential side. If the corrugated tube 30 is pulled out from the nut 20 in this state, it can be pulled out smoothly without any resistance, and the corrugated tube 30 can be removed from the nut 20.

After removing the corrugated tube 30, turn the nut 20 in the opposite direction to return it to the state shown in FIG. Claw part 2
4 also returns to its original position, so a new corrugated tube 30 can be inserted and connected and fixed. Also, after inserting a new corrugated tube 30 while leaving the nut 20 in the state shown in FIG.
By turning the nut 20, the claw portion 24 of the claw piece 22 may be engaged with the trough portion 32 of the corrugated tube 30, as shown in FIG. Therefore, when attaching a corrugated pipe to a corrugated pipe joint for the first time, first connect and fix the joint body and nut to a structural member, etc., and then insert the corrugated pipe into this already installed nut. , they can be connected and fixed by the operations described above.

In the embodiment described above, the nut connecting portion 1 is provided at one end of the joint body 10.
2, and the other end was provided with a male threaded portion 16 that connects to a structural member, but in this embodiment, a cylindrical portion 19 is provided in the center of the joint body 10, and the same structure is provided at both ends of this cylindrical portion 19. Nut connecting portions 12 are provided respectively. Then, a nut 20 is attached to each nut connecting portion 12. The structure of the nut connecting portion 12, the engagement groove 50, etc., or the nut 20 is the same as in the previous embodiment, and detailed explanation will be omitted. Therefore, the nut 20 attached to both sides of the joint body 10
By connecting and fixing different corrugated tubes 30, the corrugated tubes 30 can be connected linearly. Left and right nuts 20
By using nuts with different diameters as the nut connecting portions 12, it becomes possible to linearly connect corrugated tubes 30 of different diameters. [Effects of the Invention] According to the joint, the claws of the claws that engage and fix the corrugated pipe are engaged with the troughs on the outer surface of the corrugated pipe by the engaging action between the engaging protrusion of the nut and the engaging groove of the joint body. Since the corrugated tube can be engaged and disengaged, the corrugated tube can be installed and removed extremely easily and reliably. In other words, even if the nut and corrugated tube are attached to the fitting body, by simply turning the nut in a specific direction, you can release the fixation of the corrugated tube and remove it. ,
The troublesome work of removing the nut and corrugated tube from the joint body, cutting the corrugated tube, and then pulling out the corrugated tube from the nut is no longer necessary. As a result, the work of attaching and removing the corrugated pipe becomes extremely simple, and the work can be made more efficient. Furthermore, since there is no need to remove the nut from the joint body, there is no need to store the removed nut, and the worry of losing the nut is eliminated. Furthermore, when removing the corrugated tube from the nut, the nail part of the nut can be completely removed from the trough of the corrugated tube.
Unlike conventional methods, it is not necessary to pull out the corrugated tube until the claws and troughs are engaged, and it can be pulled out smoothly even with a small amount of force. This also solves the problem of deformation.

It returns to the same state as the corrugated pipe joint. Therefore, in this state, if another corrugated pipe is inserted inside the nut, the claws of the nut will be locked to the valleys of the corrugated pipe, and the corrugated pipe will close. Needless to say, it can be fixed to the nut.'' ■ On page 15, line 12 of the specification, the phrase ``1 state and engagement'' is corrected to ``state and engagement.''
