(b) Prior Art Various techniques have been proposed in the past regarding automatic switching of the winding yarn from a full collection to an empty collection in a glass fiber winding machine. For example, the shape of the front cap part (waist thread winding part)
As shown in Figures 7 and 8, a plurality of circumferential grooves 11 and 12 with a V-shaped or rectangular cross section are provided to increase the friction surface with the thread, and with a V-shaped cross section as shown in Figure 9. Pins 13a are embedded in the tapered surface of the circumferential groove 13 at several locations in the circumferential direction, and a circumferential groove 14a with a rectangular cross section is formed at the lowest part of the circumferential groove 14 with a V-shaped cross section as shown in FIG. There is one in which a circumferential protrusion 14b having an acute angle at the tip is formed on one side of the V-shaped circumferential groove 14. Although not shown, the front cap section can be moved back and forth along the axis.
There is also one in which the thread is held between the cap and the collect.

(c) Problems to be solved by the invention However, in the case shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, if the yarn does not come into strong contact with the outer surfaces of the grooves 11 and 12, the winding yarn cannot be switched. In the case shown in FIG. 9, the thread is likely to be cut by the pin 13b, leading to operational errors. In addition, the one shown in Fig. 10 guides the thread on the slopes on both sides to reach the edge 1.
4b, the thread is cut by a rectangular circumferential groove 1 created by the thread and the binder attached to the thread.
Not only is winding failure likely to occur due to clogging in 4a,
It was difficult to process.

(d) Means for solving the problems In order to achieve the above purpose, the structure of the present invention is as follows. That is, in a glass fiber winding machine, two parallel winding collets are rotatably attached to a turret plate via a partition plate, and the tips of these collets are used as front cap parts for winding the waist yarn. One or more circumferential grooves are provided on the outer periphery of the front cap portion, the circumferential groove has a bottom surface and two side surfaces sandwiching the bottom surface, and at least one side surface of the side surfaces has an acute-angled edge portion at the groove entrance. The groove is formed so that it slopes inward.

(E) Effect The yarn whose winding is switched from the full collection to the empty collection is wound around the front cap of the empty collection, introduced into the circumferential groove, and brought into contact with the inclined side surface of the circumferential groove. The yarn can be re-wound to an empty collet reliably, and is also cut little by little at the edge portion formed at the entrance of the circumferential groove.

In FIG. 1, on the turret board (not shown),
Two take-up collets 1 and 2 are mounted parallel to each other with a partition plate 4 in between and rotatable in the direction of arrow A. The outer periphery of the front cap portions 1a, 2a of the winding collects 1, 2 is provided with a circumferential groove 1 whose cross section including the axis is trapezoidal, as shown in FIG.
b and 2b are arranged in parallel. At least one side of each of these circumferential grooves is an inclined surface 1c that is inclined inwardly from the grooves 1b and 2b. Therefore, the groove entrance forms an acute edge portion e.

Next, the operating state of the above will be explained. 1st
In the figure, reference numeral 1 indicates an empty collection from which yarn is to be wound, and reference numeral 2 indicates a full collection after winding has been completed. The continuous yarn of the cake 3 that has been rolled up by the collect 2 is guided by the yarn guide 5 and wound around the waist on the front cap part 2a, while the turret board is reversed 180 degrees in the direction of arrow B, and the empty collect 1 and , the position of the full volume collection 2 is changed as shown in the first diagram. Then, the thread C passes through the front cap portion 1a of the empty collection 1 and is wound around the outer periphery of the front cap portion 2a of the full collection 2.

At this time, due to the friction of the thread C on the front cap portion 1a of the empty collection 1, the flow of surrounding air, and the difference in rotational speed (peripheral speed difference) between the empty collection 1 and the fully wound collection 2, The thread C is wound around the front cap portion 1a of the empty collection 1.

However, it is difficult to smoothly switch between thick yarns and winding yarns at low speeds under the above conditions alone, and more active countermeasures are required. Therefore, in this proposal,
Circumferential grooves 1b and 2b are formed on the outer periphery of the front cap portion 1a, and the cross section including the axis thereof is trapezoidal, and at least one side of the circumferential grooves 1b and 2b has a side surface that slopes inward, and an edge portion e is formed at the entrance of the groove. .
As a result, when the turret disk is reversed, the thread C is wound around the outer periphery of both the front cap parts 2a, 1a of the full and empty collections 2, 1, and
1b and comes into contact with its inclined side surfaces 2c, 1c, the frictional force increases, and together with the tensile force between the two collets, the thread C is cut little by little at the edge portion e. Then, the winding yarn is smoothly switched from the full collection 2 to the empty collection 1. The partition plate 4 rectifies the wind near the front cap portion 1a, making switching of the thread C more effective.

When the above switching is completed, the yarn C is guided by the yarn guide 5, moves to the cake forming position, and starts winding onto the empty collet 1.

What is shown in FIGS. 3 to 6 are other embodiments of the cross-sectional shape of the circumferential groove 1b. Therefore, in the case shown in FIGS. 3 and 5, the inwardly facing inclined surface 1c of the circumferential groove 1b is formed facing forward (towards the collet body) and backward (towards the collet body), respectively. The other opposing surface is the upright surface 1d. Also, Figures 4 and 6
In the case shown in the figure, the inclined surface 1c is forward facing,
The groove is formed facing backward, and each of the other surfaces is a surface 1e that slopes toward the outside of the groove.

In addition, when multiple rows of circumferential grooves 1b and 2b are provided, even if one groove becomes clogged, the other grooves will take care of it.

(g) Effects of the invention As described above, the present invention provides one or more circumferential grooves on the outer periphery of the front cap, and the circumferential groove has at least one side surface of the cross section along the axis of the front cap. It was formed so that it sloped inside the groove. Therefore, since the yarn is reliably captured by the circumferential groove on the empty collet side, the switching operation is not influenced by the yarn path wound on the front cap portion on the full winding side. In addition, since the thread is rubbed by the edge and gradually cut, it can be used with thick threads. Moreover, the front cap is easy to process.
