Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a user of public telephone possible to know a remaining calling time duration quantitatively even when calling conditions are different in calling time range and calling distance by accumulating charge pulse cycle and remaining number of calls and displaying a remaining callable time duration directly on the telephone set. CONSTITUTION:A charge pulse signal 6 that is sent from a switch board side at a cycle corresponding to a distance and time range of a calling party during telephone talking is input to a charge pulse cycle timer circuit 1, and the charge pulse cycle timer circuit 1 outputs a charge pulse cycle 8. A remaining call counter circuit 2 outputs the remaining number of calls 9 when inserting a card. An accumulating circuit 3 outputs the initial value 10 of a remaining callable time duration.
