Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve operability and portability by arranging a transmission/ reception antenna made of metallic materials in a groove formed on a part of the outside periphery of the case of a handset to directly electrically couple it to a circuit board. CONSTITUTION:A groove 4' is formed along a part of the outer periphery of a receiving part 1c of a lower case 1b, and a flat antenna 4 is fitted to the groove to eliminate a step on the receiving part 1c. A soldering part 4a of the antenna 4 is fixed to the circuit board by soldering. Since the antenna does not project from a handset main body 1, the operability and the portability are improved, and the space for the equipment and the operation is reduced, and the damage of the antenna is reduced.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Conventionally, this type of cordless telephone device has been designed to improve call performance by constructing an externally protruding rod-shaped antenna near the handset of the handset. Originally, telephones were intended to be able to be used in unspecified locations without any inconvenience. Cordless telephone equipment uses a protruding bar antenna to efficiently transmit radio waves and power from all directions (

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, the above-mentioned conventional cordless telephone device has a problem in that the rod-shaped antenna protrudes from the handset, which causes inconvenience in its handling and operation. Furthermore, rod-shaped antennas are usually 5 to 10 cm long, making it difficult to secure space when placed on a desk, secure space during operation, and secure space when carried in a pocket or the like.

Therefore, less space is required, and since the antenna does not protrude or protrude from the surface of the handset case, less space is required for installation and operation, and the antenna is less likely to be damaged during handling. Furthermore, by processing the antenna in the same color as the case, etc., not only can the quality of the device be increased, but also the cost of the antenna structure can be reduced.

A groove 4 is formed along a part of the outer circumference of the receiver part 1c of the case 1b. Reference numeral 4 denotes a flat antenna, which is fitted into the groove 4, and is configured so that there is no step in the receiving part 1c when the flat antenna 4 is fitted into the groove 4. FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the flat antenna 4, which is a metal antenna roughly formed in an L-shape.

In the embodiment, the metal antenna is formed by applying nickel plating to an iron-based material. 4a is a soldering part for electrically coupling with a circuit, and is fixed to the circuit board by soldering. FIG. 3 is a view (cross-sectional view) taken along arrow A in FIG. 1. FIG. 4 is a cross section AA in FIG. 3. In FIGS. 3 and 4, the flat antenna 4 guided in a groove formed along a part of the outer circumference of the lower case 1b is positioned such that the soldered portion 4a described above is disposed on the circuit board 5. Then, it is fixed with solder at the solder land 5a on the circuit board. Flat anti-nana 4 and lower case 1b
Since the lower case 1b is constructed in close contact with each other, even if a shock is applied during handling, the strength of the lower case 1b contributes, so there is no problem such as land peeling even in the soldering method.

As described in detail of the invention (according to the present invention, a flat antenna made of a metal material is provided on a part of the outer periphery of a handset/receiver case, and one or more pieces of the flat antenna are directly coupled to a circuit board. Because the antenna does not protrude from the handset body, the user's operability and portability are significantly improved, and the space factor when installing and leaving it is extremely good.Furthermore, the reception performance from multiple directions is fully satisfactory. It is possible to realize a mounting method that is inexpensive in terms of cost.
