位置を検出する識別手段と、を備えた画像形成装
置において、 前記マークセンサは移動手段によつてインクシ
ートの幅方向に移動可能に構成された単一のセン
サであり、且つ制御部からの制御信号に基づいて
前記各マークに対応する各幅方向位置に停止可能
に制御され、 前記識別手段は前記単一のマークセンサの各幅
方向位置における各検出信号に基づいて前記各色
の位置を検出することを特徴とする画像形成装置
