Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate errors in the action time of a timer without substantial changes in the overall constitution by a method wherein present time and the action time of a timer are set so that a microcomputer calculates the time difference between them. CONSTITUTION:A timer change-over knob 7 is set at an indication 'continuous', and a time setting knob 8 is set at the present time. When an air conditioner is in operation, a setting change button 6 is pressed, and if not, an operation/ stop change button 5 is pressed so that the present time is set. Then, timer change-over knob 7 is set at 'timer off' or 'timer on', the time setting knob 8 is set at the time at which the timer is to be brought in action, and the setting change button 6 is pressed to set the timer.
