現像装置において、 前記現像ローラに対するドクターローラの応力
分布を均一化するようドクターローラは両端部か
ら中央部にかけて漸次大径として成ることを特徴
とする現像装置。 (2) 感光体表面に形成された静電潜像に現像剤
を付着して可視化する現像ローラと、この現像ロ
ーラ上に担持された現像剤を薄層化するための該
現像ローラの外表面に当接して配置されたドクタ
ーローラと、このドクターローラの両端部を押圧
することにより該ドクターローラを前記現像ロー
ラに向けて加圧する付勢部材とを備えた現像装置
において、 前記現像ローラに対するドクターローラの応力
分布を均一化するようドクターローラの軸芯は現
像ローラの軸芯に対し両軸の中央交叉部を中心と
して所定角度回動した位置関係で当接して成るこ
とを特徴とする現像装置。
