Claims

A two-part overhead ground wire gripping method that exposes a part of the optical fiber unit of the optical fiber composite overhead ground wire over a predetermined length and grips the portion of the optical fiber composite overhead ground wire where no optical fiber is exposed. In a junction box that uses a two-piece structure cap in which a two-piece unit gripping part is continuously formed to hold the exposed optical fiber unit while maintaining waterproofness, recesses are formed in required parts of the side wall of the junction box body. A required part of the cap is fitted into a semicircular recessed receiving part formed at the bottom of the recessed part, and a fixture having a semicircular recessed holding part is fitted into the recessed part. An optical fiber introduction structure in a junction box of an optical fiber composite overhead ground wire, in which the other side of the above-mentioned cap is held down and fixed.
