〔従来の技術〕
近年、ビル、駅、ロビー等に、種々の情報を提供する情
報表示装置が設置されており、今後、このような情報表
示装置の設置は益々盛んになってくると考えられる.
このような情報表示装置のうち、カラー情報を表示し得
るものが、情報量の豊富さ、注目度等が優れているため
、カラー情報表示装置が今後の主流になってくる考えら
れる.
現在、カラー情報表示装置は、その発光方式にかかわら
ず、赤、緑、青色に発光するの光源を平面上に配列する
ことによって表示面を構威したものであり、かかる表示
面をある程度離れた場所から見ることにより、カラー表
示を実現しようとするものである.
〔発明が解決しようとする課題]
しかしながら、上述の如きカラー情報表示装置を近距離
から見た場合、赤、緑、青色が分離して見えてしまうた
め、情報提供者が意図した情報が正確に伝達されない可
能性が生じるという問題があった.
この問題を解決するためには、1つの光源が全ての色に
発光することが必要であるが、現在の技術ではこのよう
な光源の実現は無理であり、それに替わる光源が要求さ
れている.
本発明は上記の点に鑑みなされたもので、その目的とす
るところは、カラー情報表示装置の1つの絵素を実質的
にlつの光源で構戊できる可変色光源装置を提供するこ
