Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a water-stopping effect by a method in which a water stop sheet is attached to a brush, and the tip of the water stop sheet is contacted with the ground while backing it up by a spring part by holding its basal end in such a way as to push up the water stop sheet by its recover force. CONSTITUTION:A water stop sheet 13 of an adequate material is attached to the outside of a brush 3 forming a tail seal 1, and the basal end of the sheet 3 is held with the brush 3 and inner and outer protective plates 11 and 12 by a brush holder 10. The tip of the sheet 13 is contacted with the ground 4 while backing it up by a spring part 14, where the spring part 14 serves to recover it due to its high flexibility along the recessed and projected portions of the ground 4; that is, the sheet 13 is pushed up to make it contact with the ground 4, permitting its water-stopping effect to exhibit. 極部を直接押圧してブラシ材先端の極部に割り込ませる
事態を有効に防止し、バネ材の復元と共に復元して地山
との接触状態を再生する。又バネ材は止水シートを良好
に保護し、バネ材を通す水分を止水シートで遮断する。

、地山の凹凸又は小石が止水シートの地山接触面に介在
した場合にはバックアップバネ材がその凹凸又は小石が
存在する部分で直接又は間接に撓みを生じ、これを後方
へと良好に逃がしつつ復元して止水シートを原状に復し
地山との接触状態を再生して上記泥水遮断効果を有効に
維持する。即ち、止水シートが地山の凹凸又は小石によ
って先端の極部でブラシ材先端へ押し込まれる等、地山
との密接性を阻害する状態の発生を有効に防止し、止水
シートの作用を如何なく発揮させることができ、ひいて
はブラシ財形テールシールの実施を促進する。
