たガスエンジンのシステム構成図である。第2図
は、コントロールユニツトによる燃焼制御の制御
方法を示すフローチヤートである。第3図は、エ
ンジンの運転限界と、高出力領域と、NOx発生
量の多い領域とを、エンジン回転数と吸気圧とに
対してあらわした図である。第4図は、空燃比特
性をリツチセツトにした場合における、エンジン
回転空と吸気圧とに対するエンジン出力と、エン
ジン回転数とエンジン出力とに対するNOx濃度
指数とを示す図である。第5図は、空燃比をリー
ンセツトにした場合における、第4図と同様の図
である。第6図は、エンジン出力の空燃比に対す
る特性と、NOx濃度指数の空燃比に対する特性
とを示す図である。第7図は、NOx濃度がピー
クとなる空気過剰率の、エンジン回転数とエンジ
ン出力とに対する特性を示す図である。

られる燃焼制御装置であつて、 エンジンの空燃比特性をリツチセツトとリーン
セツトの2種設定し、通常はリツチセツトにして
エンジンを運転する一方、エンジンの運転状態が
、リツチセツトにしたのではNOx発生量が多く
なるような運転領域に入つたときには、リーンセ
ツトにしてエンジンを運転するとともに、スロツ
トルバルブを開方向に作動させて吸気のリーン化
による出力低下を補償するようにしたことを特徴
