イツチと、多種類の用紙のうち１種類の用紙を多
数収納する用紙カセツトと、前記用紙カセツトを
複数収納し、１つの用紙カセツトを選択して用紙
を供給する給紙部と、それぞれの用紙カセツトに
収納されている用紙サイズを検出するサイズセン
サと、用紙カセツト内の用紙の有無と用紙残量を
検出する用紙センサとを有し、電源投入時に同一
サイズの用紙を収納した用紙カセツトが給紙部に
複数収納されていた場合、カセツト内の用紙残量
の多いカセツトを選択することを特徴とする給紙
