Abstract

PURPOSE:To have function to check sequence and operational condition display of an electromagnetic contactor and at the same time to retain safety for an operator by installing an open part cover which is transparent and freely opened and closed or attached and detached and a display means to recognize displacement position of a pushing part through the open part cover. CONSTITUTION:An open part 2a for an outer cover to push a movable insulating stand is covered with a cover 4 which is transparent and can be opened and closed or attached and detached if necessary. As a display means, a prism or a lens is formed in the cover 4, and indicators are installed in a movable side or a fixed side or both of them and displacement position information corresponding to the movement of the movable part can be observed using the refracted light of the prism or the lens. With this structure, functions for sequence check and operational condition display of an electromagnetic contactor are provided and an error operation of a pushing part during driving the apparatus is prevented.

In the conventional technology, checking whether the circuit through the contacts of a magnetic contactor is configured correctly (hereinafter referred to as a sequence check) is carried out using a fixed insulating stand or MA edge cover (hereinafter referred to as an external circuit) without driving the electromagnet of the magnetic contactor. (called a cover)
is configured to open and press a part of a movable insulating stand to which a movable contact is attached from the opening, and on the other hand,
In order to visually check the operating status of the electromagnetic contactor, a part of the movable insulating stand or an operation display unit linked to the movable insulating stand is inserted through the opening and its movement can be visually observed.

b. Since a part of the outer cover is opened so that a part of the movable insulating table 13 can be suppressed, the pressure generated by the arc when the current is interrupted is released through the opening 12a, and the pressure inside the arc extinguishing chamber does not increase. Breaking performance deteriorates. For this reason, it became necessary to strengthen the arc extinguishing ability, which was an impediment to improving economic efficiency, downsizing, and improving performance.

d. Since the operating state is recognized by the difference in the position of the movable part on the front side or the back side of the opening 12a, identification from the side is relatively good, but the control panel The equipment is equipped with electromagnetic contactors and other equipment of different sizes, and while it is possible to check the operating status from the side, it is difficult to distinguish from the front. e. The technique disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 59-141138 has a display window 14 using a reflective prism 17, as shown in FIG. 26, but the display window 14 cannot be opened or closed. In order to selectively block unexpected information, it is necessary to take measures such as vapor-depositing aluminum to prevent light from passing through the conical reflective surface, which is also problematic from an economic perspective. In the figure, 15 and 16 are labels. The content disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 52-15232 also discloses a similar display technique using reflected light.

Alternatively, it is covered with a removable light-transmitting cover, and a prism or lens is formed on the cover as a display means, and a sign is installed on the movable part side or the fixed image, or both, so as to correspond to the movement of the movable part. A configuration is shown in which displacement position information can be visually observed using refracted light from the prism or lens. Items 5 and 6 are whether to install a guide on which the movable part slides deep inside the opening and block the guide on the opening side in order to prevent abrasion powder from adhering near the opening.
Alternatively, a guide is provided at a position separated from the opening by an insulating wall. Item 4 forms an inclined surface toward the side wall of the opening on the pressing part of the movable insulating table, and uses the inclined surface as a concave mirror surface to detect changes in position corresponding to the movement of the movable part using reflected light from the concave mirror. It is made visible through a transparent cover. Item 8 aims to expand the display field of view in response to the constituent requirements of Item 2. Item 7 is an integral extension of the light-transmitting cover from the viewpoint of preventing electric shock.

The configuration shown in item 1 enables a sequence check by opening or removing the opening cover, and by closing it after the sequence check, it is possible to prevent the pressing part from being exposed. In addition to eliminating the risk of accidentally operating the parts, the covering of the openings prevents pressure drop and foreign matter from entering the arc extinguishing chamber when the current is cut off. Brings good results in improving interrupting performance.
