- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 車体後部のエンジンルーム内にエンジンが配置
される自動車において、 上記エンジンはエンジンルームの左右の一側に
寄せて配置し、このエンジンの側方となるエンジ
ンルームの他側にマフラと触媒コンバータとを上
下に重ねて配置すると共に、 上記マフラからのアウトレツトパイプは、マフ
ラの前部から後方に向けてＵターンさせ、かつマ
フラの後方位置でエンジンルームの一側に向けて
屈曲させて後端部をエンジンの後方に臨ませてな
る自動車の排気装置。
