[Industrial Field of Application] The present invention relates to disposable diapers.
More specifically, the present invention relates to a disposable diaper with excellent water absorption performance. [Background of the invention] As is well known, disposable diapers are made of polyester,
It consists of a liquid-permeable surface sheet made of nonwoven fabric such as polypropylene or rayon, a liquid-impermeable waterproof sheet made of polyethylene or polypropylene film, and a water-absorbing layer made of cotton pulp, water-absorbing paper, etc. inserted between them. ing. In addition, powdered superabsorbent polymer substances have recently been used to improve the water absorption capacity of the water absorption layer and to make the entire disposable diaper as thin and compact as possible. Various types of superabsorbent polymer materials are commercially available, including polyacrylic acid, starch, and carboxymethyl cellulose, and all of them can be used, but none of them can be used in conventional disposable diapers. A type of super absorbent polymer substance is used by uniformly dispersing it in cotton pulp, or by scattering it in a layer between cotton pulp, or by putting it between water absorbing paper. It was sometimes used by placing it in the middle of the water absorption layer. However, this method of use has had problems such as insufficient water absorption performance despite the use of a large amount of expensive superabsorbent polymeric material, resulting in an increase in price. As an improvement method for this, the first water-absorbing layer forms the upper layer between the liquid-permeable top sheet and the liquid-impermeable back sheet, and the second water-absorbing layer forms the lower layer. As already proposed by the present inventors, it is effective to use a superabsorbent polymer material whose water absorption amount is smaller than that of the superabsorbent polymer material used in the second water absorption layer. (Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 61-289101). [Object of the Invention] It is an object of the present invention to solve the above-mentioned problems of conventional disposable diapers and to provide an inexpensive disposable diaper with excellent water absorbency. [Means for Solving the Invention] In the present invention, a water-absorbing sheet is sandwiched between a liquid-permeable top sheet and a liquid-impermeable back sheet to form a first water-absorbing layer forming an upper layer and a lower layer. In a disposable diaper having a second water-absorbing layer, a super-absorbent polymer material is provided in layers on both sides of the water-absorbing sheet, and the super-absorbent polymer material on the first water-absorbing layer side of the water-absorbing sheet absorbs water. This disposable diaper is characterized by using a material having a water absorption capacity smaller than that of the super absorbent polymer material on the second water absorption layer side. As the superabsorbent polymer used in the present invention, all known superabsorbent polymers such as polyacrylic acid, starch, and carboxymethyl cellulose can be used. The superabsorbent polymer material used on the second water-absorbing layer side of the water-absorbing sheet should have a water absorption of 30 g/g or more, preferably 50 g/g or more, as measured using artificial urine. Preferably, the super absorbent polymer material used on the first water absorbing layer side of the water absorbing sheet has a water absorption of 50 g/g or less, preferably 40 g/g.
Preferably, the following are used: The water-absorbing sheet may be any thin paper, nonwoven fabric, or synthetic resin net sheet that has good water absorption or water permeability, and preferably has a weight of 10 to 30 g/m 2 . .
In the case of tissue paper, so-called tissue paper, it is preferable to use crepe-processed paper, and in particular, one with a crepe rate of 30% or more is preferable (the crepe rate is
This figure shows the ratio of the length of shrinkage after crepe processing to the length without crepe processing. ). Compared to conventional disposable diapers, the diaper of the present invention has improved water absorption per unit weight of the polymer material without deteriorating other characteristics of disposable diapers, such as wet bag value, which is a measure of urine relapse. It has become possible to significantly improve this. The prices of superabsorbent polymeric materials are almost the same even if they have different properties, and therefore can have a great effect on reducing the manufacturing cost of diapers. Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in more detail based on Examples. FIG. 1 shows the structure of the disposable diaper of the present invention.
In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 is a liquid-permeable sheet, 2 is a water-absorbing sheet, 3 is a first water-absorbing layer, 4 is a superabsorbent polymer material on the first water-absorbing layer side of the water-absorbing sheet 5, and 5 is a high crepe 6 is the super absorbent polymer material on the second water absorbing layer side of the water absorbing sheet 5, 7 is the second water absorbing sheet.
, 8 is a water-absorbing sheet, and 9 is a liquid-impermeable sheet. Example 1 As the water-absorbing sheet 5 shown in FIG.
%, 31.0%, and 52.0%) were used to make disposable diapers with the structure shown in Figure 1, and their water absorption properties were compared. Crepe paper with a crepe rate of 15.5% is used as water-absorbing papers 2 and 8 in FIG.
The water-absorbing layer 7 is made of cotton-like pulp of 175 g/m 2 , and the super-absorbent polymer material 4 on the first water-absorbing layer side of the water-absorbing paper 5 is a polyacrylic acid-based material with a water absorption capacity of 44.8 g/g by artificial urine. As the super absorbent polymer material 6 on the second water absorbing layer side of the water absorbing paper 5, a polyacrylic acid super absorbent material having a water absorption capacity of 75.0 g/g by artificial urine was used. The addition rate of the super absorbent polymer substance was 20 g/cm 2 on both the first water absorbing layer side and the second water absorbing layer side. The composition of artificial urine is urea 1.94%, sodium chloride.
0.80%, magnesium sulfate 0.10%, calcium chloride 0.06%, and the balance pure water. The results are shown in Table 1. Compared to the reference values, the wet back value was the same, but the amount of water absorbed was larger.
It was also found that by using water-absorbing paper with a crepe rate of 30% or more, the water absorption amount could be increased without decreasing the wet back value. In addition, as a reference value, artificial urine water absorption capacity 44.8g/g
Table 1 also shows the results of evaluation in the same manner as in Example 1, using the highly water-absorbing polymeric material of 1.

[Table] Example 2 An absorbent material without the surface sheet made of nonwoven fabric designated by reference numeral 1 in Example 1 was made, and a similar comparison was made. The results are shown in Table-2. Although the wet back value is larger compared to Example 1, Example 1
Similarly, the wet back value was the same as the reference value, but it was found that the water absorption increased as the water absorption increased and the crepe rate of the water absorbent paper increased.

[Table] Based on the above results, we found that using water-absorbing paper with a crepe rate of 30% or more as an intermediate between the first water-absorbing layer and the second water-absorbing layer, the second water-absorbing layer absorbs more water than the first water-absorbing layer. It can be seen that when a high-performance polymeric material is used, the wet back value, which is a measure of relapse, can be maintained at a low level without reducing the water absorption capacity of the diaper as a whole. Below, various measurement methods used in Examples will be explained. (1) Method for measuring water absorption of super absorbent polymer substances. The measurement was carried out using the apparatus shown in FIG. 1.0 g of super absorbent polymer material 11 was placed on 200 mesh nylon cloth 13 on support plate 12 with small holes, and when it was brought into contact with artificial urine 14 from the bottom for 20 minutes, the polymer material absorbed the artificial urine. The amount (g) was measured. In FIG. 2, 15 is a filter, 16 is an air inlet, and 17 and 18 are valves. (2) Method for measuring water absorption Same method as in (1) above except that a 5 x 5 cm diaper sample was placed on a support plate with small holes instead of the super absorbent polymer material and nylon cloth. It was measured with (3) Wet back value After adding 30 ml of artificial urine to a sample with a size of 10 x 10 cm, place a filter paper on the top sheet, place a weight of 1.0 kg on top of it, and hold it for 5 minutes. The water absorption amount of the filter paper ( weight) was measured.
