プの場合には、蓋体のスカート部が比較的長く、
しかも内圧の解放はキヤツプの先端と容器との間
隙を通してしか行われないため、内圧の解放を開
栓初期において徐々に行うことが困難となるので
ある。この傾向は、プラスチツク製キヤツプにお
いて特に顕著であることが認められる。即ち、金
属製キヤツプとガラスビンとの組合せでは、係合
する双方のネジが剛性を生じており、従つて開栓
初期においても、ネジ間の空隙を通して内圧を解
放するガス抜通路が形成され易いが、プラスチツ
クキヤツプの場合には、ネジ自体が或る程度の加
圧縮性、変形性を有しており、キヤツプの旋回に
よる開栓が或る程度進んだ段階でも、内圧自体に
よつて、キヤツプのネジと容器のネジとが気密に
係合され、ガス抜通路が形成されにくいという問
題があるのである。
