Generally, electronic devices such as telecommunication devices are always threatened by abnormal voltages generated by surges and the like, so it is necessary to protect electronic devices from abnormal voltages. In particular, failure of electronic equipment due to abnormal voltage can significantly disrupt daily life, and when a failure occurs, the time and expense required for recovery can be enormous. BACKGROUND ART In recent years, electronic equipment has become less dielectric due to the use of semiconductors, and therefore protectors have become an important element in increasing the reliability of electronic equipment.

There are various types of protectors, but
The present invention relates to a circuit constructed with the circuit diagrams shown in FIGS. 13A, B, and C, for example. That is, it is equipped with connection terminals 1, 1', 2, 2' and 3, and has a three-pole lightning arrester 4 and varistors 5a, 5b, 5.
This protector consists of an overvoltage protector consisting of elements c and 5d, and each element consisting of a current limiting resistor 6.The neutral electrode 7 of the lightning arrester 4 is grounded, and the other two electrodes 8 and 9 are used for protection. It is connected to the line that is connected to the electronic equipment that is used. Then, the surge generated on the line is handled by the three-pole lightning arrester 4 and the varistors 5a and 5.
If b exists, it is grounded through it.
In this case, even when a surge occurs on one line, the three-pole lightning arrester 4 operates to protect the electronic equipment by preventing a voltage difference between the lines. Also barista 5
Since the terminal voltage of a, 5b, 5c, and 5d becomes low when the three-pole lightning arrester 4 is activated, the voltage applied to the line prevents a follow-on current from occurring after the surge has stopped.

In addition, in order to improve contact, set screws 33 on both ends
It is desirable that the centers of a, 33b and the parts disposed between them, especially the contact portions, be aligned on the same line. For this reason, the auxiliary contact plates 30a and 30b are used to ensure that the ends of the setscrews 33a and 33b abut on predetermined positions to obtain a sufficient tightening effect, and the contact plates 30a and 30b are
5a, 25b, 25c, 25d as electrode plate 20a,
The positioning is performed by being engaged with the engagement pieces 22 of 20b, 20c, and 20d. However, the auxiliary contact plate 30a,

5a, 25b, 25c, 25d are also electrode plates 20a,
Instead of being locked to 20b, 20c, and 20d, the shape itself or the shape of the recess 12 may be changed to simply bring them into contact.

In the protector of the present invention, the components accommodated in the recess 12 of the insulating base 10 are appropriately adjusted according to its circuit configuration. When configuring the circuit shown in FIG. 13B, the varistor 5c with a lead wire is used, and the varistor 5c is housed in the recess 10a on the back side of the insulating base 10, and the lead wire is connected to the connecting terminals 1, 1'. Connect by soldering to the soldering terminal 52 of. And insulation base 1
In the recess 12 above 0, a plate-shaped conductive plate having the same thickness may be inserted in place of the varistors 5a and 5b if the configuration is almost the same as that of the above embodiment.
Alternatively, the contact plates 25a, 25b, 2 of the above embodiment
It is also possible to have basically the same structure as 5c and 25d and use elastic contact plates on both sides. In short, the contact plate 25
Since a, 25b, 25c, and 25d are located within the recess 12 and function as conductive spacers, they may be selected to have an appropriate thickness depending on the length of the recess 12. If the insulating base 10 is to have versatility even if the circuit configuration is slightly changed in this way, adjustment can be made by changing the thickness of the contact plate or by making the presser plate into a shape and protruding its vertical part into the recess 12. I can do it. It goes without saying that the insulating base 10 may be prepared with the shape and dimensions of the recess 12 matching the circuit configuration.

As mentioned above, in the protector of the present invention, components such as the overvoltage protector, terminal board, and contact board are sequentially inserted into the recess on the insulating base and housed in a line, and the setscrews are tightened from both sides. Since the parts are attached and mounted, each part can be mounted very easily. In particular, if the recess is made shallow, each part will be exposed above the recess and your fingers can be hung on it.

In addition, since the protector of the present invention has elasticity by forming elastic contact pieces on the terminal board and contact plate, the whole can be easily and securely contacted by simply tightening the setscrews from both sides, and the parts between each part can be easily and securely contacted. Electrical connectivity has improved.

Furthermore, the connecting terminal of the overvoltage protector is integrally formed with an enlarged part for locking into the recess on the back surface of the insulating base and a soldering terminal, and the lower end of the vertical part of the shaped connecting plate and the connecting terminal are integrally formed. Soldering terminals are connected to one end of the lead wire by soldering, so even if the connection terminal is broken during use due to minute cracks in the fragile part that occurs during press work or other process, the connection plate will not be damaged. Since the lower end of the vertical part of the overvoltage protector and one end of the lead wire are soldered, the electrical connection of the overvoltage protector is still maintained, which has the effect of increasing the reliability of the electronic device.

A recess is formed on the inside of the insulating base that protrudes from the center of the upper part of the insulating base that is equipped with the connection terminal. The recess inside the protrusion has cutouts for relief of set screws on both sides. The protector, the terminal plate, the contact plate, and the holding plate arranged on both sides of the overvoltage protector are housed in a line, and by tightening the setscrews of the holding plate, these members are brought into close contact with each other. At the same time, a lid body is disposed on the convex part to close the recess, and the horizontal part of the shaped connecting plate is tightened with a nut at the base of the connecting terminal, and the vertical part of the shaped connecting plate is attached to the insulating base. A protective device characterized in that a connecting plate and a connecting terminal are connected to each other via a lead wire.
