PRIOR TECHNOLOGY Various types of locking nuts of this kind are commercially available, but since the elasticity of the deformed threaded portion applies stress to the threads of the bolt to prevent loosening, when screwed into the bolt, The tightening torque required is much larger than that of a normal nut.
There was a problem in that workability was poor, and there was also a problem in that the deformed thread portion damaged the thread of the bolt. Moreover, the rotational torque in the return direction of the screw was lower than the above-mentioned excessive tightening torque.

Means for Solving the Problems In other words, the locking nut of the present invention is provided with a notch extending in the radial direction at the periphery of the screw hole at the top of the nut body, and a screw formed by being separated by the notch. The rear end portion of the thread segment in the screwing direction is deformed inward by pressing against the outer surface of the top of the nut main body, and the notch end is pressed against the screwed male thread against rotational movement in the return direction of the screw. It is characterized by being designed to fit into the screw thread of.

Preferably, a plurality of notches are arranged symmetrically around the circumference of the screw hole to form a plurality of thread segments. Further, in order to deform the rear end portion of each thread segment inwardly in the screwing direction, the top portion of the nut body is preferably formed into an annular stepped portion having a conical outer circumferential surface.

Embodiments Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described based on the drawings. The nut main body 1 has a hexagonal shape similar to a normal hexagonal nut, and has a screw hole 2 in the center thereof extending throughout the axial direction. The top part 3 of the nut body 1 is formed into an annular stepped part with a conical outer peripheral surface, and three notches 4 extending in the radial direction are arranged symmetrically around the circumferential edge of the screw hole 2 inside the top part 3. , three thread segments 5 are formed by dividing the thread at the cutout portion 4 . Each thread segment 5 has its rear end portion 5a in the threading direction deformed inwardly. The segment rear end portion 5a is deformed by pressing the outer surface of the top portion 3 of the nut body 1. Reference numeral 6 denotes a recess formed on the outer surface of the top portion 3 by applying pressure.

When the nut having the above structure is screwed into the threaded portion of the bolt, the inwardly deformed rear end portion 5a of each thread segment 5 is relatively easily elastically deformed due to the presence of the notch portion 4. , the tightening torque required for screwing is relatively small and workability is good. Furthermore, when the screw is rotated in the return direction, the notched end 5b of each thread segment 5 acts to bite into the thread of the bolt, thereby exhibiting an excellent locking effect. Figure 3 shows the notch 4.
An example is shown in which each thread segment 5 is completely separated by extending it to the outer peripheral surface of the top part 3. Such a structure not only makes it easier to elastically deform each thread segment 5, but also is convenient when cutting the notch 4.

Effects of the Invention As mentioned above, the locking nut of the present invention has the following advantages:
A notch extending in the radial direction is provided at the periphery of the screw hole at the top of the nut body, and the rear end in the screwing direction of the thread segment separated by the notch is deformed inwardly by the impact force. Since the deformed thread portion is a free end, it can be elastically deformed relatively easily. Therefore, the tightening torque for the threaded portion of the bolt is small, resulting in good workability. Furthermore, when the screw rotates in the return direction, the notched end of the inwardly deformed thread of each thread segment acts to bite into the thread of the bolt, resulting in an excellent locking effect. is obtained.
