ロツクを挟むようにして第1乃至第4のコアブロ
ツクとダミーブロツクとを接合する第1の工程
と、 第1及び第4のコアブロツクと、ダミーブロツ
クの第2と第3のコアブロツクにそれぞれ近い側
に、前記した接合の面に沿つて同一側からそれぞ
れ巻線溝を形成する第2の工程と、 前記第1の部分及び第2の部分に沿つた第1の
面と交わり、かつ前記巻線溝のそれぞれを含む面
であつて、第1の面と直交する面を除く面と平行
に、第1乃至第4のコアブロツク及びダミーブロ
ツクを複数箇所に亘りスライスする第3の工程
と、 ダミーブロツクに設けられた2個の巻線溝が互
いに分離されるようにダミーブロツクを切断する
第4の工程とを含み、 チツプを形成するようにしたことを特徴とする
磁気ヘツド用チツプの製造方法である。

に、前記した接合の面に沿つて同一側からそれぞ
