切換える切換手段と、該サーマルヘツドの単位面
積当りの発熱容量を選択的に大・小いずれか一方
に制御する制御手段とをそれぞれ設け、通常の記
録時は、前記リボン選択手段により前記記録用印
字リボンを記録位置に配置させるとともにサーマ
ルヘツドの単位面積当りの発熱容量を小に制御し
て所望の印字を行い、誤印字の消去時は、前記リ
ボン選択手段により前記消去用転写リボンを消去
する誤印字部に配置させると共に、前記切替手段
および前記制御手段により通常の記録時に比べて
前記サーマルヘツドの発熱部分の幅を広く且つそ
