(b) Prior art The prior art veneer veneer joining device is based on the patent No.
Connection method of veneer veneer No. 740981 (Special Publication No. 49-481
No.), and the present invention is also a method invention, ``A desired amount of localized portions of the veneer veneer, which are extruded or unrolled with their end faces closely butted together, are placed at appropriate locations on either the lower side or the upper side of the normal conveyance line. A blind made by protruding and transporting the plywood veneer in such a manner that the end faces butt or dry cracks are partially opened, and the open parts are adhered as they are by an appropriate joining means to form a gap. This is one of the inventions of an improved device for carrying out a method for joining veneer veneers such that the veneer veneers are joined together to form veneer veneers, but the conventional device for carrying out this type of joining method is A carry-in mechanism in which appropriate conveyance tools such as belt conveyors or rollers are arranged above and below, and a press bar or belt conveyor, chain conveyor, etc. connected to the carry-in mechanism.
A carry-out mechanism is provided with suitable conveyors such as chain conveyors with detrollers arranged above and below, and the veneer veneer is pushed out or paid out by the carry-in mechanism and the carry-out mechanism with their end faces closely abutting each other. A protrusion mechanism consisting of an appropriate protrusion device such as an ejection roller or a protrusion piece configured to protrude a local area by a desired amount either below or above the conveyance line of the veneer, and the protrusion at the protrusion location of the veneer veneer ejected by the protrusion mechanism. The appropriate bonding material is fed out using an appropriate bonding tool, such as a separately provided bonding roller or bonding board, or a chain conveyor with a detent roller for bonding, and is bonded to the veneer-like veneer board with a gap formed. However, the conveyance resistance acting on the veneer veneers as they are successively pushed out onto the unloading mechanism was extremely excessive, and as a result, it was not yet possible to commercialize it. It has its drawbacks.

(C) Problems to be Solved by the Invention As mentioned above, in the prior art, a loading mechanism sequentially pushes out onto an unloading mechanism, and in the unloading process, a local area is pushed upward or downward by a desired amount by a protruding mechanism. The conveyance resistance that the veneer veneer receives when it is in a bent conveyance form and the bonding material is pasted is equal to the required braking frictional resistance that must be provided to closely abut the mutual end surfaces of the conveyance mechanism. In addition, the bending friction resistance due to the above-mentioned ejection mechanism and the tensile friction resistance when feeding out the joining material are added, and in actual industrial machines, it is difficult to handle thin veneer veneers with a thickness of about 2m/m or less. Transport resistance that is greater than the buckling strength and compressive strength of the physical properties of veneer veneer acts and concentrates at the butt points and dry cracks, causing overlapping and board clogging at those points, causing Since the quality and yield of the composite product were significantly impaired and the process efficiency was extremely low, the present invention is an attempt to eliminate the drawbacks of this type of prior art joining device for plywood veneers that is accompanied by transport resistance. be.

(e) Function To explain in more detail the function of the improved veneer veneer joining device which is the above-mentioned component of the present invention, it is possible to eliminate defective areas such as irregular edges, dry cracks, knot holes, etc. in the preceding cutting process. The small-width veneer veneers cut and removed by a veneer clipper or the like are fed to a conveyor consisting of belts, chains, etc. provided above and below, and are successively carried in and carried in a direction perpendicular to the fiber direction. The veneer veneers that are successively carried in by the conveyor are successively pushed out onto the press rail members that are connected to the end of the conveyor and arranged above and below, while closely abutting each other's end surfaces. The veneer veneers sequentially extruded onto the pressure rail member further cool the molten hot melt adhesive threads that are constructed by protruding local areas near both ends of the veneer a desired amount above or below the conveyance line of the normal pressure rail member. Since it is pushed upward or downward by a desired amount by the dampening roller, the end-face butt points and dry cracks of the veneer veneer during the conveyance process are locally opened by the desired amount by the protruding action of the dampening roller. It will be done. Then, on the surface of the veneer veneer having the desired amount of end face butt points and dry cracks, molten hot melt adhesive thread is applied by a thread nozzle that is installed in front of the water application roller and feeds out the molten hot melt adhesive thread. The molten hot melt adhesive thread is applied as it is, and is once applied with pressure by a pressure roller installed opposite to the water application roller so that the molten hot melt adhesive thread immediately after application is spread thinly over the board surface, and then the water application roller is applied. It is solidified by cooling. In addition, the conveyor pushes out the veneer veneer onto the pressing rail member, and the wetting roller and the pressure roller feed out the molten hot melt adhesive thread near both ends of the veneer veneer and move the desired amount upward or downward. In cooperation with the ejecting operation, in order to assist the conveying force of the veneer veneer during the unloading process, a torque motor applies adjusted rotational force to each of the wetting roller and the pressing roller until just before they idle. Therefore, the required braking frictional resistance that must be provided in order to closely abut the mutual end surfaces of the veneer veneers during the extrusion operation onto the pressing rail member, and the above-mentioned damping and pressing roller or The transportation resistance of the veneer veneer that is caused by the bending frictional resistance on the veneer veneer due to the downward thrusting operation, the tensile frictional resistance on the veneer veneer due to the unwinding operation of the molten hot melt adhesive thread, etc. This is offset by the adjusted rotational force of the torque motor to keep it to a minimum.

(f) Example As shown in the attached drawing, pressing rollers 1a and 1b of the present invention, which are disposed oppositely on the upper and lower sides, thinly spread and press the molten hot melt adhesive thread on the board surface, and a water application roller 2a, which cools and solidifies it. 2b are configured such that they can be freely projected by a desired amount above or below the normal conveyance line of the veneer veneer 3a whose end surfaces are closely butted against each other to be pushed onto the press rail members 6a and 6b, and
The pressure rollers 1a, 1b and the water application roller 2
torque motors 4a, 4b, 4 for a, 2b, respectively.
A further explanation of the veneer veneer joining device configured to apply adjusted rotational forces of c and 4d to freely assist the conveyance of the veneer veneer 3a during the unloading process is as follows.
A small width veneer veneer 3b, which has been cut to a certain width in a cutting process equipped with a veneer clipper or the like in the previous stage, is conveyed in a direction perpendicular to the fiber direction by conveyors 5a and 5b consisting of vertically opposed belts, chains, etc. Plywood veneer 3 with mutual end faces closely butted together
A plurality of rows of pressing rail members 6 are provided at the end portions of the conveyors 5a and 5b so that the conveyors 5a and 5b can be pushed out in the shape of a.
a and 6b are arranged vertically. Further, on the pressing rail members 6a, 6b, there is provided a rail so that the local areas near both ends of the veneer veneer 3a pushed out by the conveyors 5a, 5b can be pushed upward or downward to one side, or in the embodiment upward by a desired amount. Members 6a, 6
5 to 10 m/b so that it is opened locally by a desired amount from the normal conveyance line of b, for example, each time an end face butt point or dry crack point in the veneer veneer 3a is reached.
The wetting rollers 2a and 2b, which originally only have the function of cooling and solidifying the molten hot melt adhesive thread, are used as protruding members near both ends of the veneer veneer 3a so that their outer peripheral parts protrude upwards by about m. In order to do this, they are installed separately on the left and right sides in accordance with the attachment positions of the hot melt adhesive threads 7a and 7b. Furthermore, a separate device is installed in front of the water application rollers 2a, 2b so that the hot melt adhesive threads 7a, 7b can be continuously attached to the vicinity of both ends of the veneer veneer 3a pushed out onto the pressing rail members 6a, 6b. The container is filled with molten hot melt resin supplied from the melting tank, and the filaments 8a and 8b, such as synthetic fibers, are impregnated with the hot melt resin to form a molten hot melt adhesive yarn. Yarn nozzles 9a and 9b are installed, each of which is equipped with a heating element for feeding and pasting the yarn onto the surface. Next, when the molten hot melt adhesive thread is attached to the board surface of the veneer veneer 3a by the water application rollers 2a and 2b, the molten hot melt adhesive thread is thinly spread on the board surface so that it can be spread and pressed. Opposing the water application rollers 2a, 2b, the pressure rollers 1a, 1 are usually pressed by pressure members 10a, 10b such as air cylinders from directly above them.
b is installed so as to be able to press freely on the side of the water application rollers 2a, 2b, and the molten hot melt adhesive thread stuck to the board surface of the veneer veneer 3a is applied to the water application rollers 2a, 2b.
Immediately before cooling and solidifying in Step 2b, spread the mixture thinly and apply pressure. However, the pressing rail members 6a, 6
The veneer veneer 3a pushed out onto b has a necessary restraint on the preceding veneer veneer 3a in order to apply a desired end face abutting force to the succeeding veneer veneer 3b of the pressing rail members 6a, 6b themselves. Generation of dynamic frictional resistance, water application and pressing rollers 2a, 2
The generation of bending frictional resistance due to the formation of upward or downward protruding transport paths b, 1a, 1b, and the tensile frictional resistance caused by passing through the yarn nozzles 9a, 9b to impregnate the molten hot melt adhesive yarn and then letting it out. Since there is a conveyance resistance of the veneer veneer 3a that is caused by the occurrence of the 2b and the pressure rollers 1a, 1b, respectively, are torque motors 4a, 4.
For example, a variable resistor 11 is installed in the power supply circuit so that the torque motors 4a, 4b, 4c, and 4d can be adjusted to a desired amount.
A, 11b, 11c, 11d, etc. are inserted individually or collectively to generate a desired amount of rotational force that adjusts the water application rollers 2a, 2b and pressure rollers 1a, 1b to the state immediately before idling. Since the torque is applied by the torque motors 4a, 4b, 4c, and 4d, most of the conveyance resistance acting on the veneer veneer 3a is canceled out by the torque motors 4a, 4b, 4c, and 4d.
Even extremely thin veneer veneers with a thickness of about 2 m/m or less can be transported safely and reliably.

For thin veneer veneers that are less than the same thickness, transport resistance that is greater than the buckling strength and compressive strength of the physical properties of the veneer acts, and this is concentrated at the butt points and dry cracks, so that This caused overlapping and board clogging, which significantly impaired the quality and yield of the bonded products, and extremely low process efficiency. Pressing rollers 1a, 1b for spreading and applying pressure and watering rollers 2a, 2b for cooling and solidifying these are connected to pressing rail members 6a, 6b.
The veneer veneer 3a whose end faces are closely butted together can be freely projected upward or downward by a desired amount above or below the normal conveyance line, and the pressure rollers 1a, 1b and the wetting rollers 2a, 2b are each By applying the adjusted rotational force of the torque motors 4a, 4b, 4c, and 4d to freely assist the conveying force of the veneer veneer 3a during the unloading process, these difficulties can be completely eliminated. Not only was it successful, but the patent no.
Connection method of veneer veneer No. 740981 (Special Publication No. 49-481
This invention was the first to industrially demonstrate the usefulness of the method invention in No. 1), and it was an extremely remarkable invention that greatly contributed to the improvement of the technical level in the field of plywood manufacturing.

1. A small width veneer veneer is sandwiched between upper and lower conveyors and conveyed in a direction orthogonal to the fiber direction, while the end surfaces of the veneers are tightly abutted against each other so that they can be pushed out. The pressure rail members disposed on the pressure rail members are arranged in series, and the area near both ends of the veneer veneer to be pushed onto the pressure rail members can be pushed upward or downward by a desired amount from above the conveyance line of the pressure rail members. A water-applying roller is installed to cool the molten hot-melt adhesive thread by protruding it by a desired amount, and the water-applying roller is installed so that the molten hot-melt adhesive thread can be attached to the vicinity of both ends of the veneer veneer extruded onto the pressing rail member. A thread nozzle for feeding out the molten hot-melt adhesive thread is installed in front of the roller, and the molten hot-melt adhesive thread attached to the vicinity of both ends of the veneer veneer can be spread onto the board surface, facing the water-applying roller. and that a torque motor is attached to each of the wetting roller and the pressing roller so as to be able to assist the conveying force of the veneer veneer pushed out onto the pressing rail member. A special feature is the veneer veneer joining device.
