着した触媒コンバータに於て、上記触媒担体の中
央部の目を密に形成し、触媒担体の周縁部の目を
疎に形成すると共に、触媒担体と上流側に、エン
ジンの運転状況に応じて触媒担体の中央部又は周
縁部への排気ガスの流れを制御する制御弁を設け
