ワイヤローブにインパクトモールと言う推進機を接続し
、このインパクトモールの先端にクラッキングヘッドを
取付けると共に新しいヒユーム管を接続し、後部からコ
ンプレッサーによりクランキングヘッドで老朽陶管を破
砕しながら推進させると同時にフロントジヤツキで牽引
埋設して行く工法がなされているが、この工法は、破砕
した古い管は産業廃棄物となるため、その現場から取除
かなければならないのに、その場に残したままになり、
又、次の管の入替えの際も破砕物が蓄積されることにな
り新しい管が入らなくなる。その上、陶管以外には用い
られないと言う欠点がある。
