Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of the comatic aberration of the optical spot located on the disk of an optical beam by fitting the 2nd chassis to which a turntable is fitted to the 1st chassis on which a guide shaft is placed and also positioning the guide shaft by the face of the 2nd chassis. CONSTITUTION:A chassis 4 for a guide shaft on which the guide shafts 2, 3 supporting an optical pickup 1 slidably are placed and a chassis 9 for a turntable to which a turntable 11 is fitted are made as a separate body. The chassis 9 for the turntable is fixed to the chassis 4 for guide shaft and in that case the guide shafts 2, 3 are supported with its abuttment by the chassis 9 for the turntable and the guide shafts 2, 3 are positioned by the face of the chassis 9 for turntable. The parallelism of the face composed by the guide shafts 2, 3 and the disk placing face of the turntable 11 can thus be obtd. easily and the generation of the comatic aberration of the optical spot on the disk can be prevented.

(B) Prior Art Optical disc devices are known that read signals from or write signals on a disc using a light beam emitted from an optical pickup. Most of the optical disc apparatuses have two guide shafts parallel to each other arranged in the radial direction of the disc on the turntable, and the optical pickup is supported by the guide shaft so as to be movable in the radial direction of the disc. However, it has been difficult to make the surface constituted by the guide shaft, that is, the sliding surface on which the optical pickup slides, parallel to the disk mounting surface of the turntable. Therefore, in an optical disc device, in order to prevent coma aberration from occurring in the optical spot on the disc, the optical pickup is moved around the - side guide shaft as an axis, as shown in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 132-86548, for example. The guide shaft side is made vertically movable and the attitude of the optical pickup is adjusted so that the optical axis of the optical pickup is perpendicular to the disk mounting surface of the turntable.

On the other hand, as an optical disk device, for example, JP-A-63-1
As shown in Japanese Patent No. 24280, by adjusting the height of the guide shaft, the sliding surface on which the optical pickup slides is made parallel to the disk mounting surface of the turntable,
There are known devices that prevent coma aberration from occurring in the light spot on the disk.

*) Function The present invention separates a guide shaft chassis on which a guide shaft for slidably supporting an optical pickup is placed and a turntable chassis on which a turntable is attached, and also provides a separate chassis for a guide shaft on which a guide shaft that slidably supports an optical pickup is mounted, and a turntable chassis on which a turntable is attached. A chassis for the turntable is fixed to the chassis for the guide shaft, and at that time, the guide shaft is abutted and supported by the chassis for the turntable, and the guide shaft is positioned by the surface of the chassis for the turntable, so that the chassis for the turntable is easily positioned. The objective is to obtain sufficient parallelism between the surface of the guide shaft and the disk mounting surface of the turntable.

(G) Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the present invention, the second chassis on which the turntable is attached is attached to the first chassis on which the guide shaft is placed, and the surface of the second chassis Since the position of the guide shaft is determined, the positional relationship between the guide shaft and the turntable is determined, and the flat surface formed by the guide shirt 1 and the disk mounting surface of the turntable can be easily aligned. It is possible to prevent comatic aberration from occurring in the optical spot of the optical beam emitted from the optical pickup on the disk.
