PURPOSE:To reduce generation of vibration and noise from supporting legs and obtain a low noise closed type compressor by providing metal rings fitted and fixed to a closed vessel, and providing supporting legs fixed to the rings and holding a closed type compressor on an unit base. CONSTITUTION:Metal rings 10, 10 fitted and fixed on the outer circumferential faces of the compressor element 3 side and the motor element 2 side of a closed vessel 1, by shrinkage fit, welding, threadly fix, or the like, are formed into thickness of 1.5-3 times of that of the closed vessel 1 to obtain sufficient rigidity for assembly and necessity, independent of the fixing method.
