Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable discrimination between an abnormal level and a normal level at a glance by a display color, by using a multicolor light emitting element as a display element and by making the display color different between a case when the abnormal level is displayed and a case when the normal level is displayed. CONSTITUTION:A multicolor light emitting element is used as a display element and a display color is made different between a case when an abnormal level is displayed and a case when a normal level is displayed. Concretely, a display control circuit 1 controls the display of the multicolor light emitting element 2 on the basis of an output signal of a level setting circuit 4. A signal for indication display is inputted to an input circuit 5 according to an input signal 6. Based on the inputted signal, an A/D conversion circuit 3 outputs an output value being proportional to the input. In the bar graph display, for instance, a display 11 when the value is a lower-limit set value or below in relation to the input signal 6 or a display 13 when it is an upper- limit set value or above are colored with red or orange to show abnormality. A display 12 in the case when the value is above the lower-limit set value and below the upper- limit set value is colored with green to show normality. According to this constitution, discrimination between the abnormal level and the normal level can be made at a glance on the basis of the display color.

The above-mentioned conventional indicators and indicators that use monochromatic light emitting elements only display instructions using monochromatic light emitting light in response to input signals, and the display color does not change even if the upper and lower limit levels are set, and there is no visible abnormality. The drawback is that it is not clear whether the level is normal or not.
