When using a conventional passbook printing device, if the transaction data printed on the passbook spans several pages, the passbook should be ejected from the passbook printing device to the return slot, the customer should change the pages, and then insert the passbook again. It had the disadvantage that it had to be inserted into a passbook printing device, making the customer's operations complicated. Therefore, in order to eliminate this drawback, a bankbook printing device that is equipped with an automatic page change device to automatically turn the page when a page is carried over has been developed and put into practical use. One of them is Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 56-55292. This technique will be explained with reference to FIG. In Figure 2, 1 is a passbook, 2
3 is a rotating friction roller that rotates in the turning direction of the page to be turned over in the passbook; 3 is a rotating friction roller that detects that a predetermined amount of the page to be turned has been turned up by the rotation of this rotating friction roller, and presses the free end of the page against the rotating friction roller side. This detector outputs a signal that causes the rotary friction roller to rotate in a state in which the pressure of the pressing member is released.

According to such a configuration, by rotating the rotary friction roller in a clockwise direction, the middle page that comes into contact with the roller is turned up in an arc shape. Then, the middle page of the turned-up actuates the detector 3 disposed above, so that a detection signal is generated, and in response to this signal, the rotating friction roller 2 is stopped from driving.
Then, the rotating friction roller 2 enters the page on the back side of the turned-up page, and the page change is completed as the passbook moves on the conveyance path.

However, according to the above-mentioned automatic page turning device, since the control was simply to turn the middle pages using a rotating friction roller, pages of passbooks that are weakly stiff or have a tendency to crease may be turned over too much depending on the paper quality of the middle pages. There was a problem of a high frequency of failure to turn the pages of the complicated passbook, and a lack of reliability.

According to the present invention described above, a bankbook is sandwiched between a rotating friction roller and a pressing member, and with the pressing member pressed against the bankbook, the rotating friction roller is rotated a predetermined amount in the page-turning direction to turn the page, and then the page is turned in the opposite direction. The page is rotated by an amount less than the predetermined amount to slightly return the turned page, and this operation is repeated a predetermined number of times to ensure that only one page is left and the page break operation is performed.

The bankbook 4 guided to the page break mechanism section 10 slips under the page break guide 18 shown in FIG. The passbook 4 that has slipped under the page break guide 18 is swung about the support shaft 17 by the attraction of the plunger magnet 16, thereby raising the page break press 15 and bringing it into contact with the page break roller 12. At this time, page break guide 18
is retracted in the direction of the arrow by a drive mechanism (not shown).

The page break press 15 attracts the plunger magnet 16, moves upward around the spindle 17, and presses the bankbook 4 against the page break roller 12 (Fig. 5()).
Subsequently, the page break roller 12 rotates in the forward direction for 10 pulses (FIG. 5()), and then rotates in the reverse direction for 4 pulses (FIG. 5()). At this time, the bankbook 4 is pushed up by the page break press 15 and comes into contact with the page break roller 12, so that page turning occurs.

After the page break roller 12 repeats the above-mentioned forward and reverse rotation a number of times determined based on the thickness of the paper, the strength of the paper, etc., eight times in this embodiment, the plunger magnet 16 is rotated.
Turn off for 150ms (Figure 5 ()). Then, the page break roller 12 is again rotated for 10 pulses in the forward direction and 4 pulses in the reverse direction. When the page of the bankbook 4 is turned up and the sensor 19 detects the page (FIG. 5()), the plunger magnet 16 is completely turned off (FIG. 5()).

According to the present invention described in detail above, the page break roller of the automatic page break section of a bankbook is rotated by a predetermined amount in the turning direction, and then rotated in the counter-turning direction by an amount less than the predetermined amount, and this operation is repeated multiple times. Furthermore, by turning the page break press off and then rotating the page break roller forward and backward by a predetermined amount, it is possible to handle not only bankbooks that have a tendency to bend or are stiff, but also bankbooks that are weakly stiff. It is possible to prevent excessive page turning and is definitely 1.
You can turn only the pages.
