[Detailed description of the invention] (a) Technical field of the invention This invention is a fishing rod formed using high-strength fibers such as glass fiber, carbon fiber, and aramid fiber.
This invention relates to tubular bodies such as golf club shafts.

(b) Prior Art and Problems Hitherto, Utility Model No. 1984-49105 has been known as this type of fishing rod. This known fishing rod consists of a prepreg sheet reinforced with high-strength fibers, and a tape made of bundled high-strength fiber filaments wrapped in a rough pitch in a crosswise pattern and bonded together, so that when bending stress is applied, The degree of reinforcement is significantly different between the part where the tape is wound and reinforced and the part where there is no reinforcement, and as a result, the part where there is no reinforcement,
In particular, the tape becomes an annular hoop, and stress is concentrated at the end of the hoop and the portion that separates the unreinforced portion, making it easy to break. Therefore, in the case of fishing rods that have a large curvature of the rod under normal use, this known fishing rod exhibits a reinforcing effect when the curvature is small, but when the curvature exceeds a certain level, If it is large, the stress will be concentrated in one part, causing the problem that it will become brittle and break.

(c) Purpose of the invention The present invention was made to solve the problems of the prior art, and its purpose is to:
Regardless of the degree of curvature of the tubular body, the purpose is to make it difficult for stress concentration to occur, thereby avoiding breakage.

(d) Structure of the invention In order to achieve the above purpose, a fishing rod according to the invention,
Tubular bodies such as golf club shafts are made by reinforcing multiple high-strength fiber bundles of different strengths in parallel and spaced apart around the outer circumference of a hollow tubular body made by winding a high-strength fiber sheet impregnated with synthetic resin. The band is wound in a twill pattern from one end of the substantially tubular body to the other, and is integrally hardened.

Figure 1 shows an example in which the present invention is applied to a fishing rod, in which multiple high-strength fiber bundles with different strengths are arranged in parallel and spaced apart from each other around the outer periphery of a hollow tubular body 1, as shown in Figure 2. A set of reinforcing bands 2 are wound in a twill pattern from one end of the substantially hollow tubular body 1 to the other at desired intervals, and then cured and formed into one piece according to a conventional method.

The hollow tubular body 1 is a semi-dry material made by impregnating a stretched sheet or woven fabric made of high-strength fibers such as glass fibers, carbon fibers, and aramid fibers with a thermosetting resin such as phenol resin, polyester fiber, and epoxy fiber. It is formed by winding a reinforcing fiber prepreg sheet around the outer periphery of a mandrel (core metal).

The reinforcing band 2 is made of, for example, glass fiber, carbon fiber,
For example, as shown in FIG. or three high-strength fiber bundles 2a, 2b, 2c as shown in FIG. In addition, each high-strength fiber bundle 2
a, 2b, and 2c are wound in parallel around the outer periphery of the hollow tubular body 1 at desired intervals in a cross-wound pattern from approximately one end of the hollow tubular body 1 to the other end. The plurality of high-strength fibers 2a, 2b, 2c constituting this reinforcing band 2 are made of 100 to 100 fibers with a diameter of 6 to 15μ.
Approximately 10,000 high-strength fiber bundles are arbitrarily bundled individually, and the appropriate interval between each high-strength fiber bundle is approximately 1 to 10 mm. Further, although the number of each high-strength fiber bundle varies depending on the purpose of use, 2 to 5 bundles can achieve the reinforcing effect aimed at by the present invention. Furthermore, if the spacing between the reinforcing bands 2 is equal to or greater than the width of the reinforcing bands 2, the reinforcing effect aimed at by the present invention can be achieved.

In this way, the tubular body of the present invention has a plurality of high-strength fiber bundles 2a, 2b, 2c with different strengths arranged in parallel and spaced apart. The small high-strength fiber bundles in the reinforcing band mainly act on large bends, and the large high-strength fiber bundles in the reinforcing band mainly act on large bends.
The force applied to the rod is absorbed step by step by each high-strength fiber bundle, preventing stress from concentrating on the area where the reinforcing band is present and where it is not. Therefore, unlike the conventional reinforcing band which is naturally bundled into one, each high-strength fiber bundle has a small number of filaments. Also, since the bending is transmitted from the tip of the rod to the base, when considering a set of reinforcing bands, the deflection on the rod tip side is large, which means that the change in cross-sectional shape is large. In addition to dividing the reinforcing band into multiple high-strength fiber reinforcement bundles, aramid fibers with a high elongation rate are placed on the rod tip side, and aramid fibers with a high elongation rate are placed on the rear side, so that stress can be gradually relieved from the rod tip side. By using high-strength carbon fibers, it becomes possible to effectively reinforce the structure, and the purpose can be achieved with a small amount of fibers.

(F) Effect of the device As described above, the present device can relieve stress in stages by using multiple high-fiber reinforcing bundles with different strengths that make up the reinforcing band. It is possible to avoid concentration of stress at the section where the rod is not connected, and breakage of the rod rod can be avoided.
