Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the communication time including dialing and to increase number of transmission documents able to be managed by sending at least one transmission document selected from a memory for each transmission destination. CONSTITUTION:A storage means storing document information read from an original corresponding to the destination is provided and when the operator sets a transmission document to a transmission document read section 4 and gives a command of memory transmission, a facsimile control section 1 informs the transmission destination to a transmission document management section 2. The transmission document management section 2 uses a transmission destination comparison section 3 to compare whether or not the transmission document of the same destination exists in the already stored transmission documents. when the destination is the same as that of the transmission document already stored, the facsimile control section 1 gives a command of synthesizing the transmission document read by the transmission document read section 4 with the transmission document of the same destination and storing the result as one transmission document to a transmission document storage section 5 to start the reading. Thus, the dial time is reduced and number of transmission documents able to be managed is increased.
