炎21は下がっていき漏れた未燃ガスを燃焼しきれなく
なる。したがって低燃焼時にCo/Co2を悪化させて
いた。このため設けられたのが燃焼制御筒22で、外炎
筒気化部23からの空気により空気室24で未燃ガスを
局部的に燃焼させて未燃ガスの漏れを少なくし、漏れた
未燃ガスが黒矢印で示す如く燃焼室内のドラフトで燃焼
室8へ引き込まれて燃焼するようにするとともに外炎筒
7に沿った空気の流れを起こし、Co/CO!悪化を抑
えている。
