Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 ヒータを内蔵した定着ローラと、定着ローラに
圧接された加圧ローラとからなり、転写紙上のト
ナー像を熱と圧力で定着する定着装置において、 上記定着ローラと加圧ローラの近傍に配設され
、定着ローラと加圧ローラの表面色を検出する光
センサと、 該光センサで検出した色情報とあらかじめ設定
された基準色とを比較し、検出した色情報が基準
色と相違したときに異常信号を送り出す色比較手
段と、 該色比較手段からの異常信号を受けて異常表示
を行なうとともに、上記定着ローラのヒータに対
する通電を遮断し、システムの動作を停止する制
御手段とを備えたことを特徴とする定着装置の異
常検知装置。
