BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Various forms of electrical connectors have been proposed and used in the past. The electrical connector is typically constructed such that the male contacts on one side of the connector are strongly held by the female contacts on the other side. The contacts are often difficult to align and are difficult to attach or remove from one part to another.
