Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the opening area of a valve port without increasing the installation space by forming the valve ports on the outside surface and the intermediate recessed part side surface of a lead valve body whose sectional surface is formed into nearly M-figure shape. CONSTITUTION:As for the lead valve device 16, the intermediate part of a lead valve body 20 is formed into a recessed form having a V-figure shape or U-figure shape, and the sectional surface is formed into a nearly M-figure shape as a whole. A valve port 21 is formed on the outside surface of the lead valve body 20, and valve port 22 is formed also on the side surface of the recessed part, and the valve ports 21 and 22 are covered by the valve plates 23-26 as valve body which are installed into cantilever form. Further, each valve seat is formed on the periphery of the valve ports 21 and 22, and the opening/closing operation of the valve plates 23-26 is guided by the valve guides 27-30 which are curved smoothly. Therefore, the opening area of the lead valve device 16 can be increased without increasing the installation space, and the air intake resistance can be reduced.
