を破損する恐れがある場合には、原稿搬送手段を
逆駆動して原稿が入口側から自動的に排出される
ようにして、原稿が破損することを防止すると共
に、操作者の手動による原稿の取り出し作業の必
要性を無くした原稿送り装置を提供することを目
的とするものであり、原稿9をその入口4aから
原稿載置台2へ搬送路に沿つて搬送する原稿送り
装置において、原稿9の搬送路に間隔を置いて配
置された複数の原稿検知器7,8と、該複数の原
稿検知器7,8のうちいずれか一つの原稿検知器
が原稿9を検知してから他の原稿検知器が原稿を
検知するまでの時間が搬送原稿9の傾斜度に応じ
て設定された設定時間を越えているか否かを判定
する判定手段とを備え、前記判定手段によりいず
れか一つの原稿検知器が原稿9を検知してから他
の原稿検知器が原稿9を検知する迄の時間が前記
設定時間を越えたと判定された時、原稿搬送手段
5を原稿9が原稿載置台2から離れる方向に駆動
し、前記判定手段によりいずれか一つの原稿検知
器が原稿9を検知してから他の原稿検知器が原稿
9を検知する迄の時間が前記設定時間を越えてい
ないと判定された時、原稿搬送手段5を原稿9が
原稿載置台2へ向かう方向へ駆動するように制御
する制御手段を備えたことを特徴とするものであ
