かかる課題を解決した本発明の要旨は、1〉管先端周縁
に複数のビットを取付けたリングビットに対し打撃又は

る掘削方法に於いて、リングビットとして先端のビット
群のうち一周縁のピント列のh外方向に傾けて取付けた
構造のリングビットを用い、該リングビットに少なくと
も 3600以上の回転を同じ掘削硬質地盤に与えるこ
とで硬質地盤を直進的に掘削させ、その掘削方向を変え
るときはリングビットの外向きビ・ソト列を修正する掘
進方向に位置せしめ、次にこの位相を中心としてリング
ピントに狭い角度範囲の首振り回転運動を与えることに
よって掘進方向を変えることを特徴とするリングビット
を用いた掘削方向修正容易な掘削方法

リングビットを360°以上回転させれば外向きのビッ
トは掘削地盤の削孔壁に対し3600均一に働き、リン

ングビットの回転中心軸方向に直進的に掘削されていく
。次に前後(上下)、左右いずれかの方向に掘削方向を
修正したい場合は、外向きのビット列がその変向する方
位に位置するようにし、この位置を中心に±45°程度
の狭い角度でリングビットを首振り回転運動させる。こ
れによってビットの受ける地盤からの抵抗が外向きのビ
ットと他のビットとの間に差異が生じ、そのため外向き
のビットの方向へ推力が発生しリングビットがその方向
に徐々に変向して掘削していくものである。掘進の方向
は外向きのビットの中心位相によって決まり、その位相
を変えることで前1&(上下)、左右いずれの方向でも

ットの他はすべて正常の真直なビyトとしている例であ

(発明の効果〉
以上の様に本発明によれば、リングビットの先端ビット
の一周縁のビットの取付けに角を外向きにしたリングビ
ットを使用し、しかも所要の位相にして首振り回転運動
を与えることで掘削途中掘削方向を迅速且つ容易に修正
でき作業性をきわめて高めることができた。しかもこれ
に使用するリングビットはわずかた改良で済むので安価

修正する掘進方向に位置せしめ、次にこの位相を中心と
してリングビットに狭い角度範囲の首振り回転運動を与
えることによって掘進方向を変えることを特徴とするリ
ングビットを用いた掘削方向修正容易な掘削方法。 2)管先端周縁に取付けるビット群のうち一周縁のビッ
