てその吊子を下地材に固着し、前記横葺用建築用
板の内側係合部に隣接の横葺用建築用板の外側係
合部を係合して、その吊子の頂部片にて外側係合
部寄りの主板の下面を支持するようにした横葺外
囲体としたことにより、正負の荷重に対して極め
て強固となるし、板鳴現象を解消でき、さらに横
葺用建築用板の長手方向の熱伸縮にも良好に対応
でき、葺成ピツチを正確にでき、ひいては葺成を
簡易且つ迅速にでき前記の欠点等を解決し、その
目的を達成したものである。

ることもある。前記逆コ字状膨出条2bは第3
図、第5図等に示すように比較的角型のものであ
つたり、第1図、第2図等に示すように丸型のも
のに形成されている。これに対応する外側係合部
5は前記主板1の他側に比較的丸みをもつた略L
字状に屈曲形成されている。即ち、前記主板1の
他側端より垂下状部5a(垂下弧状部を含む)が
形成され、この下端より内方に弧状の先端縁5b
が屈曲形成されている。この垂下状部5aと先端
縁5bとは連続した円弧状部として第1図、第2
図等に示す如く形成されることも多い。前述の内

(水下側)が係合箇所で膨出した形状になつてい
ても、その係合箇所全体を吊子Bで支持してこれ
を下地材Cに固定した構造になつている。このよ
うに、内側係合部2と外側係合部5との一部又
は全体が全長に亘つて密着状態に係合しているこ
と、突出条3を吊子Bにて係止押圧しているこ
と、突出条3と突起部12a,17aとを係止
状態にしたこと、吊子Bの頂部片10にて外側
係合部5寄りの主板1の下面を支持したこととが
相乗的に作用して極めて強度的に優れた係合箇所
を有する横葺外囲体を提供できる。このため横葺
