In this configuration, when pressing the workpiece W, a through hole H is formed in the workpiece W in advance. Then, with the lower mold 1 and the upper mold 2 separated from each other in an open mold state, the workpiece W is placed on the lower press surface 3, and the through hole H and the positioning hole 4 are aligned. When moving from this mold opening state to a pressing process in which the upper mold 2 is lowered, the locating pin 6 is inserted through the through hole H and the positioning hole 4, and the workpiece W is thereby positioned.

Further, when the pressing process is further continued, the tip of the knockout pin 7 comes into contact with the surface of the workpiece W, and the knockout pin 7 retreats into the upper die 2 against the spring 8, and the workpiece W. is pressed between the lower press surface 3 and the upper press surface 5 to complete the press forming. After the press forming is completed, when a mold opening process is performed in which the upper mold 2 is moved upward and the lower mold 1 and the upper mold 2 are moved relative to each other in a direction in which they are separated from each other, the biasing force of the spring 8 causes the notch to open. The out pin 7 operates to protrude. Therefore, when the press forming is completed, the workpiece W pressed onto the upper press surface 5
is pressed by the knock-out pin 7, and can perform knock-out to remove the press-formed workpiece W from the upper press surface 5.

The deeper the drawing during press forming, the longer the overall length of the locating pin 6 becomes. However, if the overall length of the locating pin 6 is increased, the rigidity against bending and shearing acting on the locating pin 6 during press forming decreases. Therefore, in order to ensure sufficient rigidity, it is necessary to increase the diameter of the locating pin 6, and as a result, it is also necessary to increase the diameter of the through hole H formed in advance in the workpiece W, which reduces the strength of the workpiece W. will decrease.

The compression spring 19 presses the stopper 17 against the end wall of the large diameter hole 11 as shown in FIG.
The large diameter portion 11 has a spring force capable of biasing the locate pin 13 so as to protrude outside the small diameter hole 11.
Furthermore, this compression spring 19 is caused to move into the large diameter hole 11 of the large diameter part 14 due to a reaction after the end surface 17 of the large diameter part 11 comes into contact with the workpiece W in the pressing process shown in FIG. The spring force is such that the spring force is sufficient to allow the retracting movement of A spring force is set that can press the workpiece W into contact with the workpiece W and remove the workpiece W from the upper press surface 5. In other words, the compression spring 19 has a spring force set to be approximately the same as that of the spring 8 which urges the knockout pin 7, which has already been described in the fourth section, to protrude.

After completing this press forming, when the upper die 2 is moved upward in the mold opening process, the locate pin 13 presses the end surface 17 against the workpiece W that has been press-formed, and moves the workpiece W into the upper part. It is separated from the press surface 5. Therefore, without providing the knockout pin 7 (see FIG. 4) as in the conventional method, the knockout is performed to separate the workpiece W crimped to the upper press surface 5 from the upper press surface 5 when the press forming is completed. be able to. Therefore, if only the locate pin 13 is provided on the upper mold 2, there is no need to provide the knockout pin 7, and the upper press surface 5 of the upper mold 2 is small as in the case of pressing a small workpiece W. Even in cases where the work W can be positioned, the work W can be removed from the upper mold 2 after press forming is completed, and
It is possible to eliminate the inconvenience that the size of the workpiece to be processed is limited.

Furthermore, the small diameter portion 1 is inserted into the through hole H.
4, the total length of the locate pin 13 becomes longer when the drawing is deep during press forming, and accordingly, in order to ensure sufficient rigidity against bending and shearing that acts on the locate pin 6 during press forming, Even if the large diameter portion 11 is made larger in diameter, the through hole H
There is no need to make the diameter even larger. Therefore, the disadvantage that the strength of the workpiece W is reduced due to the large diameter of the through hole H is eliminated, and the strength of the workpiece W can be ensured even though the drawing is deep.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, in the present invention, it is possible to perform workpiece positioning and knockout to remove the press-formed workpiece from the press surface of the upper die using only the locating pin. Therefore, there is no need to separately provide a knock-out pin on the upper mold, and press molding that involves positioning and knock-out of the workpiece can be performed by providing only a locate pin. Therefore, even when the pressing surface of the upper mold is small, such as when press-forming a small workpiece, it is possible to position and knock out the workpiece, which is an inconvenience that limits the size of the workpiece that can be processed. can be resolved.

Further, the large diameter part may be any large diameter as long as it cannot be inserted into the positioning hole provided in the lower die and the through hole provided in the workpiece. Since it is only the small diameter portion provided at the tip of the locate pin, it is not necessary to make the through hole large in diameter no matter how large the large diameter portion is made. Therefore, in order to increase the overall length of the locating pin when the drawing is deep during press forming, and to ensure the rigidity of the locating pin during press forming, even if the large diameter portion is further increased in diameter, the through hole may be made smaller in diameter. can do. Therefore, the disadvantage that the strength of the workpiece decreases due to the large diameter of the through hole is eliminated, and it is possible to ensure the strength of the workpiece with a deep drawing.
