Generally, when this type of roof sheets are joined together in a continuous manner, a large, wide-area roof is formed by welding or the like at both contacting end portions (joining edges). For this reason, in conventional roof panels, both end portions are raised directly from the flat plate portion at right angles to form a joining edge for welding the roof panels together.

This invention solves the problems of the prior art described above, and connects roof sheets together by bending both sides of the flat plate part that contacts the joining edges on each side to form a spatial band that maintains strength. It is an object of the present invention to provide a roof sheet in which the space zone exhibits an air cooling effect and exhibits strength during welding at the edge, thereby reliably preventing deformation of the flat plate part. The feature of this invention is that in the roof plate connection structure, the joint edge is formed by bending both ends of the flat plate part in the longitudinal direction in a dogleg shape so as to create a space zone between the flat plate part. The roof sheet is formed by connecting an inverted U-shaped rain screen piece in the longitudinal direction to the top of the joint edge on one side, and a convex piece connecting to the top of the joint edge on the other side in the longitudinal direction. , a roof plate connection structure characterized in that a convex piece of an adjacent roof plate of the other roof plate is closely fitted into a rain cover plate of one roof plate, and the joining edges of both are welded and connected. At the point.

When forming a continuous wide area roof by joining the vertical surfaces of the roof sheets with the above-mentioned joint edges and welding this joint surface, this flat plate is placed between the joint edge and the flat plate part. A space zone is formed that has strength through bending at the part.
This space zone exhibits a strength equal to or greater than the strength of the joint edge where the roof sheets are joined, and the joint edge and the flat plate part that are joined by the space zone are separated by the width of this space zone. Therefore, this space zone has an air cooling effect and makes it difficult to conduct heat from the joining edge during welding, thereby reliably preventing undulating deformation of the flat plate part due to welding heat. In addition, since the ends of each roof plate are connected to each other by a close fit between the rain cover and the convex piece, welding to the joint edges of both sides must be done at the key points. This makes it possible to sufficiently increase the degree of bonding. Furthermore, by fitting the rain cover piece to the convex piece, the rain cover at the joint edge can be ensured.

First, the central band of a metal plate having a predetermined surface area, excluding the side parts, is left in its original state as a flat plate part 1, and on both sides of this flat plate part 1 in the longitudinal direction, vertical planes with a slight height are formed. The joining edge 2 is formed in a continuous plane shape, and between this joining edge 2 and the flat plate portion 1,
This flat plate part 1 has a hypotenuse-like bend to provide a distance between the joining edge 2 on each side and this flat plate part 1,
And the vertical joint edges 2 on both sides are connected to the flat plate part 1 between them.
Each space zone 3 is formed parallel to the longitudinal direction so that the height does not exceed , and the entire space zone 3 is formed into a single roof sheet A.

When forming a large, wide-area roof by joining the roof sheets A with the above configuration, each roof sheet A is placed on the roof base material 4, and each joint edge 2 is placed in the rainwater flow direction B.
Arrange in parallel manner. Then, by connecting each roof plate A in a continuous manner by joining each other at the joint edges 2 and welding Y to this joint surface, a large wide area roof C is formed on the roof base material 4. can be formed.

When forming the wide-area roof C according to the above, welding Y is performed on the joining edge 2 of the roof sheets A, but between this joining edge 2 and the flat plate part 1 on each side, there is a bend at this flat plate part 1. Since the space zone 3 is formed to have strength, this space zone 3 exhibits strength equal to or greater than the strength of the joint edge 2 formed by joining the roof panels A to each other to form two sheets. be able to. Moreover, since each joint edge 2 and the flat plate portion 1 on each side thereof are separated by the width of this space zone 3, each space zone 3 can produce an air cooling effect. Therefore, when welding each joining edge 2, it becomes extremely difficult for this welding heat to conduct to the flat plate part 1 side due to the air cooling effect of the space zone 3, and as a result, the flat plate part 1 becomes wavy due to the welding heat. This can easily and reliably prevent deformation.

In addition, since a space zone 3 is formed by a hypotenuse-like bend between the flat plate part 1 and the joint edge 2 of each roof plate A, there is a space between the flat plate part 1 and the base material 4 at a height close to the joint edge 2. The part is shaped. Therefore, by utilizing these empty areas and filling each of these empty areas with heat insulating material 5, for example, it is possible to smoothly prevent the solar heat received on the roof plate A side from being thermally conducted to the base material 4 side. There are advantages that can be achieved.

In this embodiment, the joining edge 2 has different shapes on the left and right sides. That is, one of the joint edges 2 has a rain cover 2a connected to the top of a vertical surface with a slight height and parallel to the longitudinal direction and having a shape that faces the vertical surface and rotates in an inverted U shape. There is. The other joining edge 2 has a convex piece 2b connected to the top of a vertical plane with a slight height, which can be tightly fitted into the rain cover piece 2a in a state perpendicular to the vertical plane.

When forming a large wide area roof C by joining the roof panels A having the above-mentioned configuration, the joining edges 2 that are different from each other are fitted together. In other words, the rain cover 2a of the joint edge 2 on one side of the roof plate A
In this manner, the convex piece 2b of the joint edge 2 on the other side of the adjacent roof plate A is fitted into the roof plate A, so that both vertical joint edges 2 are brought into contact with each other, and the ends are fitted together, one after another. By connecting A, a large wide area roof C can be formed on the roof base material.

The idea is to form continuous joint edges with at least a portion of vertical surfaces on both ends of the flat plate part in the longitudinal direction, and to form a space zone between the joint edges and the flat plate part. This is a characteristic feature. Therefore, when welding at each joining edge, the space zone on each side has an air cooling effect and strength, and in order to reliably prevent deformation of the flat plate part, this type of roof plate is used. This has the effect of greatly improving the appearance of large, wide-area roofs. Also,
Since the ends of each roof plate are connected by a close fit between the rain cover and the convex piece, welding to the joint edges of both sides is done at the key points. The degree of bonding can be sufficiently increased. Furthermore, by fitting the rain cover piece to the convex piece, the rain cover at the joint edge can be ensured.
